Colors usually promotes a show either in its initial stage or when the TRPs are increasing..Udaan is neither a new one nor its TRPs are increasing..

Udaan was a great show, considering its content..If they focus on it, channel may promote the show (as they feel proud to promote a show that deals with a social cause)..Now when it became a side role centric track, there is no chance of promo..Before the show starts, a disclaimer is given which says "they are lot of villages in our country just like azadgunj..Through our show we are bringing it your notice and hope for their development"..Not even a single word is related to the show now..Even a disclaimer do not fit in..How can we expect the channel to promote..

It is unfair to not promote a show which mints money to them..Also I gree with @nimmi that Udaan cannot attract new TRP audience but can get back its old loyal viewers..Based on the current scenario, i think Udaan doesn't want its viewers back..

I observed KN-Chakor or Bandhuva promos airing almost every hour..But reunion promos, bachuva promos were aired scarcely..That says it all..

Same thoughts, lets face it the show has not been living upto anyone's expectations these days. The makers need to step up and stop making a mess of this show, start getting it back on track by having Suraj and Chakor legally married and taking down KN.

but it is sad in a way that neither the channel nor the makers are pushing the show to do better. in fact the latter is dragging it back with terrible story telling and tracks.
and the audience have lost all expectations from the show. in fact we have been 'conned' so many times that now when the makers actually give us gift horse we will see it as a Trojan horse. no wonder after any article or segments we think of ALL negatives prospects and contingencies first.
soon the trp audience will join us. keeping all my prejudices and hatred aside and talking plain business and common sense:
The vendor has a prime product all the costumers want. the vendors knows that. yet.. he wants to sell his own product incidentally the product no one has signed up for and now literally hates... to the customers. and how he goes about it.. by short selling the prime product. or clubbing it with the product no one wants.
The prime product is.. Chakor's Udaan. Suraj's Udaan too. Their journey and their fight against slavery and KN.
vendor's product: Imli and more Imli.

What on the earth is going on in the minds of those who are coming up with bachua tracks and then top it with beyhadh track. ONLY Maya (Jennifer) can pull off a Maya with elan.
reducing Suraj and Chakor to being doormats, slapping bags, nannies and nurses (not to mention idiots) .. anything but the strong ambitious characters that they were.

and this serial had to potential to be on Top 3 list if not top rated one. It had everything for it. Great villain, Strong heroine, Kick ass hero, scorching chemistry, Social cause, story.. you name it.. they had it.
yet now it is reduced to being perpetual struggler in top 20 list. and worse.. the makers care a flying fig and continue their madness.

and these are the same makers who pulled off a miracle with their other show. Naamkaran is not flawless. it has got its own ff worthy entities and moments but Main leads, their story, their character growth, their space is sacrosanct.
so why are they committing plain harakiri in this show?

so let us not worry about the trps coz the people in power aren't. (worrying).
if and when the audience too shall join us.. then the bloodbath will begin. then we can hit the panic button. as of now.. Udaan is in safe land... for now.

Yeah..it is ok but matsh was a winner show with trp of 4 but when the show went to 1.9, the channel scrapped it.This is why i am scared for udaan cuz its been a month and no improvement as it seems stable at 1.9 which is not really good.

during those days trp was calculated differently that is why shows got ratings like 4-5 and 1.9 ratings were bad. now also 1.9 ratings aren't good but even the top rated show gets 3.3. so we aren't great but we are hanging on ok position.

yaa..n don't u think that trp of all the shows has subsequently decreased?..I mean there was a time when the show at 10th rank used to have Trp of 3 something..n now sometimes even the winner show doesn't make it to 3..I remember there was an episode of Balika Vadhu..which bagged the trp of 10 something.

I think in early July the show topped on the channel with shakti. That means it's still possible to get viewers interested. Why so much importance is given to vidhi/imli all of a sudden?????If they show her as a full fledged vamp, I will be satisfied because at least for once they have made up they mind about her character

No audience is going to accept her as a bechari after what she has done to Vivaan last Friday. It was disgusting. Even if they elaborate that she is mentally sick, how are they going to proceed with her track with Vivaan.

Best is to revamp the show. Show sukor shadi, send imli to hospital, bring new girl for Vivaan, maybe ajay sister.
