Udaan starts with Chakor (Meera Deosthale) in a conflicted state of mind as she walks on the road crying and she remembers Suraj(Vijayendra Kumeria) on one side and on the other hand he remembers the children crying for help and Kamal Narayan's warning. Suraj is worried about Chakor and he with Tejaswini pray for her return and also everything to be fine. Chakor decides finally that she cannot let go of Suraj this time as she loves him a lot. Kasturi and the other villagers worry about Chakor. Kasturi is tensed as she remembers Chakor worrying about the children sent to Delhi. One of the villagers says Chakor was too worried about the kids there has to be something. Chakor walks in to the house and demands to be left alone for a while. Chakor looks at her ring and also Suraj's photo as she sits crying. She takes out the duppatta Suraj gave her and wears it while she thinks she cannot let go of Suraj as he is everything to her. She suddenly sees the picture drawn by Paakhi and remembers how she had seen her love for Suraj and drawn her a Sun.

Chakor then runs thinking what she should do. Kamal Narayan meets her on the road and says that she just has an hour to decide then the future of Azadhganj will becomes a memory forever. Suraj is out and about searching for Chakor. Vivaan(Paras Arora) is stopped by Imli(Vidhi Pandya) who is worried about Chakor and she asks Vivaan to search for Chakor and ask her what is the matter. Vivaan is stepping out and he sees Kamal Narayan enter and he hears him being happy about removing Chakor from his way. He talks of Suraj destined to be alone and that Chakor was the hindrance in his way. Vivaan decides to find out and follows Kamal Narayan out. Suraj reaches Chakor's house and finds out she left. Chakor reaches the haveli and Suraj confronts her, he scolds her for not respecting his love. Suddenly he notices her crying and asks her what happened. She throws the water he wants to offer to Shiv and says she does not want to marry him. She asks him to take the kangan and the everything back. She says she cannot marry a person who is related to Kamal Narayan. Suraj gets violent and asks her what happened. Chakor refuses to answer and walks away but Suraj grabs her. Chakor says she has been through so much because of his family. Tejaswini comes down and also Imli. They try to make her understand but she refuses to listen to anyone. She finally removes the ring and hands it back to Suraj who is left hurt and shattered as he looks on. Chakor walks away with that leaving Suraj to his tears. Chakor cries at home as she begs forgiveness of Suraj for breaking his heart. Imli confronts Chakor asking her to say the truth and Chakor finally reveals the truth to Imli. Imli hugs her sister who cries and asks her to stay strong as she stands with her.
