I don't think that his intentions are changing with every episode,his only intention is to help imli out,surely he has given different reasons to do so..but I found them all apt..n it's not always necessary that we will always have positive consequences of something..decisions taken with good intentions sometimes can go haywire.

For me, no matter how good someone's intentions are, if his actions leads to disastrous consequences then one needs to be punished. However, i have my own understanding as to why suraj's explanation is changing every day, you might feel free to completely disagree with me😛.

I think due to their bad childhood, both sukor lacks self-confidence as far as relationships are concerned and feel that noone can love them just for themselves or the way they, thus devising their own strategies to counteract this problem. chakor uses her resourcefulness as means to keep her dear ones always near to her, thats why no matter how badly they treat her, she keeps on doing things for them as she doesnt want their "zaroorat" for her to end. I saw fear on her face when during holi track she came to know that suraj has got work without her help, she said "suraj ko ab hamari zaroorat nahi hain" and then their was relief when she helped him with the kids when she said" dekha suraj, tumhe aakhirkar hamari zaroorat pad hi gayi".

suraj, on the other hand, till he was himself, his father used to beat him, abuse him and then when he started doing things KN's way, he got his affection. in his mind to get a person's love he has to be like him, so to when he was with KN, he bacame KN -part 2, with chakor, he became chakor-part 2 and started behaving exactly like her. the original suraj is there but it fears to come out lest chakor leaves him.

when he saw imli in distress, he did what exactly chakor did a year ago, sacrificed her love, took everyone's blame and hatred but he failed to realize that one cant copy someone blindly. chakor's actions were based on her priority list, she loved imli more than vivan so she sacrificed and let go. but does imli ranks higher than chakor in suraj's priority list, i dont think so, thats why he's not letting go off chakor as well. he doesnt realize that his current demand is downright cheap, he wants to stay with two women in his room and he expects chakor to comply with that.

his conditions is like that student who was copying so blindly that he copied the other person's name too. he thought since he acted like chakor , she'll understand and support him but now that chakor has left him, he's all confused that why he did what he did, did he do right or wrong and thats why he's coming up with new explanation daily. hope i made sense😛
