7 Years ago--------------
"Did you hear the news?" Someone said behind us, and I jerked my head around to see Riya leaning over her desktop.
"What news?" asked karishma.
Riya lowered her voice to a whisper, excitement crossing her face. "They're here" She told us .
I glanced at Karishma and then looked back at Riya, confused. "Who's here? What do you mean by they're here" I was just finished asking these when I heard Teacher welcoming someone and I leaned back in my chair to see them and my eyes widened, flutters hit my stomach .
"They're here" I opened my mouth, sucking in a quick breath, fire and fever making my skin tingle. Butterflies filled my stomach, and I clenched my teeth, holding back the smile that wanted loose.
He's here..
"Why are they here?" I questioned myself, they've left the school more than a year ago and studied in some college in delhi which no on knows about. So why are they back in school? I was thinking this when it suddenly hit me.
I raised my eyes slowly, looking at the clock and seeing that it was nearly two in the afternoon.
3 Hours later we had a basketball match with our rival school and last year when they were't here for the game we lost a big time so this year Principle decided to have them back as special guests to boos team's confidence.
"Are they really here?" someone damn-near squealed.
Slowly, everyone spread out, some falling back into their seats while others remained standing. I gripped my pencil with both hands, my stomach flipping like a roller coaster as I watched them slowly step into the classroom, eerily calm and in no hurry.
They were here. They were a few years older, and while not one of them knew I existed, I knew almost everything about them. All four of them stalked slowly into the room, filling the space to where the sun's rays turned black across the floor.
Karan Mehta, Garv Singhania, Rahul singh, and"I locked my gaze on the blood red mask covering the face of the one always in the lead a little more than the others"Suraj Rajvanshi, Vivaan's older brother.
He twisted his head left and jerked his chin toward the back of the room. Students turned, watching one of the male students step forward, a smile pulling at his jaw even though he tried to hold it back.
I watched Suraj, the way his size had nothing to do with how he filled a room, and I blinked long and hard, feeling the heat flow under my skin.
Everything about them made me feel like I was walking a high wire. Cast your balance a hair in the wrong direction or tread too hard"or too softly"and you'd plummet so far off their radar, you'd never reappear.
Their power came from two things: they had followers and they didn't care. Everyone idolized them, including me.
But as opposed to the other students who had looked up to them, followed them, or fantasized about them, I simply wondered what it would be like to be them. They were untouchable, fascinating, and nothing they ever did was wrong. I wanted that.
I wanted to look down at the sky.
Keeping my chin down, I tipped my eyes up, seeing his fingers, slightly curled, at his sides. I made out the vein over the top of his strong hand, and the whole room seemed to suddenly grow so quiet that dread filled my stomach and my breathing stopped.
What was he doing just standing there?
I slowly raised my eyes and instantly tensed, seeing Dark brown ones staring straight down at me.
I shifted my gaze side to side, wondering if I'd missed something. Why was he looking at me?
Suraj looked down, his vicious red mask"a replica of the deformed and scarred Army of Two masks from the video game"making my knees weak.
I'd always been scared of him. The thrilling kind of scared that got me turned on.
I tightened the muscles in my thighs, feeling the throb between my legs, in the space that only felt empty when he was close but not close enough.
I liked it. I liked being scared.
Everyone sat silently behind me, and I watched him cock his head just a little as he regarded me. What was he thinking?
"She's only Thirteen," Teacher spoke up.
Suraj held my eyes for another second and then turned his head, looking at Teacher.
I was only Thirteen"Huh I'm mature enough to do whatever I want, anyway"which meant they couldn't take me with them. The basketball players' ages didn't matter, but any girls that joined them had to be eighteen, leaving school grounds of their own free will.
Not that they were going to take me anyway. Teacher was mistaken.
But I wanted to go, I wanted to see what it feels like to be one of them, no, I'm not talking about the only "18 or older" girls and other team players, I'm talking about "The Four" . And this was an opportunity to show everyone that I'm not a thirteen years old baby doll, well yeas technically I am thirteen years old but my mind, Body, Heart and courage is as mature enough as an adult. So after "The Four" Left and class was dismissed I hung my school bag on my right shoulder and left immediately without answering any questions of Karishma and Riya. Once outside the school I looked here and there, there was hustle and bustle going around due to the Final game and "The Four' coming to school but my eyes saw whom they wanted to see. Suraj Rajvanshi, still wearing the mask, along with the other 3 sitting in his ca and leaving, only to come back 2 hours later for the game.
"He left" I said to myself. I very well knew I never existed for the Charming, Handsome, rebel, Daring and "Corrupted" "Suraj Rajvanshi' and the proof was his ever ignoring behavior toward me. I remember when I, for the first time stepped in Arjun sir's house he was already there, I was 7 years old and he was 11, when I was introduced to him I thought I found a friend in this new city among unknown people but I was proven wrong when he left from there while my hand was still waiting for his' for a handshake but it never happened, he never touched me. I thought his behavior toward me will fade with time but now to come think of it I guess my existence faded from his life completely. Whenever he came to bhagya did's house he ignored me, and I tried everything to be friendly to him until one night.
"Excuse me mam" A waitress shook me out of the train of my thoughts and I cam back to reality only to realize that I'm still in the cafe, looking out of the window directly at the parked lamborghini infront of my building.
"Mam your mobile is ringing for quite sometime now, And its disturbing others, If you don't mind can you..." She said smilingly and I apologized and quickly looked at my mobile. 7 Missed calls from vivaan.
"Shit...Its going to be another lecture" I thought to myself and picked my things up and left the cafe.
Once outside the cafe, I called vivaan and he picked immediately as if he was waiting for me to call and it started
"Where the f**k you are ? do you know how many bloody times I called you ? Do you think you're free from our relation just because I'm away from you?" Said vivaan in one breath.
"Shut up vivaan...Stop making a big deal out of everything, I just shifted here and I need my time to settle down and handle things therefore I'll not be available to listen to your shitty talks for while, and stop treating me like your slave because I'm not" I replied angrily and switched off my mobile and then looked back at my building, Image of suraj standing across the road, few minutes ago, appeared before my eyes and my heart started to beat as if its begging me to go near him, no go away from him, no choose the former, and my mind was Effed up because of vivaan's behavior.
I'm completely tangled between these brothers "Suraj Rajvanshi" and "Vivaan Rajvanshi" . The former never misses a chance to make my heart beat faster than a bullet train when I see him or make it not beat at all whenever he looked into my eyes, which happened very few time. And the latter never misses a chance to work on my nerves, making me feel like my head's going to explode...Aaghh stop it...I held my head in my hands, shutting my eyes and bent my head down unaware of the fact that two Light brown eyes were watching me, standing at a wall sized glass window from my building's 22nd floor, It was Suraj.
Holding a glass of whisky in one hand and the other hand set on wall to balance himself . He was staring at chakor, seeing her so frustrated, made him smirk and he whispered, coming closer to the glass as if he's whispering in chakor's ear and said "Desires of the Devils Just began sweetheart, there's way more to come" Brace yourself and get ready to show me the chakor I want to see.
"By the way I'm loving this confused, Irritated, Scared, frustrated chakor more than I thought" He said to himself and called Karan.
"She's here, Lets take it a step further tonight" Suraj said to karan and then looked back at chakor who was now crossing the road and finally she disappeared from his eyes and entered the building.
