First of all sorry for not answering sooner. Actually your questions put me into thinking mode, whether a girl should forgive a man like Suraj or not. Very valid questions. In the real world that is an impossible feat. But here it is fiction. Then again some times fiction is inspired by reality and vice versa.

For some men, saying sorry becomes very difficult. Though they would be feeling guilty, ashamed and all but it still becomes extremely difficult for them to say the word sorry. So what do they do then? They say it through their actions. And Suraj has done that time and again. He was the one who molested Chakor, and he is the same man who broke away the chains to save chakor's dignity. He is the same man who bowed down on Kamal Narayan's feet to save Chakor, not for himself. He is the same man who is starving to death since the last twelve days, but when Kamal Narayan asked him to hit chakor, he rather preferred to starve for another 112 days than hurting her. Without saying sorry, he showed that how sorry he is and he has the highest regards for chakor. If he is not worthy of Her then I don't think any else ever will be.

But yes sometimes apologising and saying the word has its own importance. So yes, Suraj needs to say it. This will not only heal Chakor but it will also heal him. I don't know about Chakor, but this apology would definitely lessen the burden on his heart. Or else he would never said that he was a very bad husband , a gunda and feel unworthy of her.

Regarding Imli, I still don't think that he was ever emotionally involved with her. He loved his unborn child which was transferred to the mother of his child. If he would have loved Imli, he wouldn't have bounced back so fast. Whatever happened between them was because of a drunken stupor. And all four have accepted the past and have decided to move on in their lives.

Plus the way Chakor can connect with suraj on emotional basis as well as intellectual level she couldn't do with anyone else. Not only Chakor but Suraj also. They always dump their ugliest truths, their innermost fears and the unvarnished and raw facts of their lives on each others lap. there is no middle ground for them.

Even when they were enemies they had that unspoken haq on each other.

And as the saying goes. Love defies logic. When you love someone with your heart mind body and soul then no past, no present can come in between. It doesn't even matter if the person is good or bad. So who am I to judge them.

I think Sooraj and Chakor are each others strength. He has developed a sense of admiration and respect for Chakor.She also needs someone whom she can be in her true self that is Sooraj.

Both are different personalities but are smart and egoistic making them unique couple.

About that attempted rape,I don't think he needs to apologize to her in current situation especially because their bond becomes stronger and she even ready to sacrifice her life to him.

He has saved her life many times and he said many times to KN that her safety and self respect is important to him.

Sooraj is aggressive person by nature and quick to respond to things without thinking.He had bad upbringing by his parents and above all his drinking problem makes things worse for him.

He done all bad things at that drunk state and Chakor well know that is why she is hell bent on him should quit his drinking habits.

He too had said that last time when he throw that bottle away that alcohol always bring to him problems.Once he get rid of alcohol he become a better person.

Now he realised the value of life and importance of humanity so now they are equals in many respects and thus made for each other.
