What are the writers doing to Suraj's character?

Now doubting Chakor? This is too much!
Like it wasn't enough that he has become so weak, can't think for himself, needs Chakor for everything, ran away like a coward living behind his mother.

Once Karaali said that CV moved too fast with Suraj's redemption and now they don't know what to do with him.

Still live with the hope that this is some sort of plan to make himself look so helpless but even hope disappears in the face of such an awkward behavior. Where is that Suraj post-leap? I could connect with him so easily because he was simply so real.

This redeem Suraj doesn't seem appealing to me. And it happens that I am very empathic person.

@Esha, I think you and me will never forgive Suraj for running away in the first place!!! Actually he never planned to come back is just that Shikhu "delivered" him to his sister.

I've just remembered another thing.
On the Independence Day, with that bomb. Everyone was trying to figure it out who must be behind the incident. Only Suraj couldn't care less!
This is not about Suraj acting wired, this is about any person acting weird. No one stays so calm and careless in front of such an event.

Claudia, it almost feels like Suraj did things on purpose. Not sure if we are reading too much into it but it sure felt like it.
This track is about breaking Suraj completely. What better way than to take away his support system, i.e. Chakor!!
The villains are winning right now and they are trying everything to keep maintaining their win.
If there is a MU between SuKor, both are going to be lost. We can't afford to have a MU!!
Their trust and faith in each other is going to be tested. They've got to pass this test. There is no other way!!

"IF" there is indeed a REASON, then I wish they take the story back to August before the stupid ice-cream incident and explain to the audience why Suraj stop investigating what Ragni was doing even after Chakor told him she saw her faking her tears.

Because what Suraj did back then was very unbelievable and that's when his strange love for Imli also began.

Suraj was the one who always doubted Vivaan when his father was trusting him blindly.

Suraj was the one who figured out first that Chakor must have someone from the press (Aditya) who kept helping her and made the plan to catch him.

Suraj was the one who realized that Vivaan was helping Chakor from inside the haveli.

Suraj was the one who helped his father to gain back his function as sport minister after losing it because of Chakor.

And he did all these when even his father had lost any hope.

Does this look like a guy who needs Chakor to think for him? Or a guy who didn't care what Ragni was doing behind their back?

So, I really need to know how come in a second he has become so stupid that he let Ragni slipping through his fingers??? And if he did it on purpose, then what was the REASON?

Yes, Namita, I'll wait and see and especially the "Reason" makes me going on with this story.
I want to see a Suraj who was always one step ahead as impossible that it seems right now because this is how it should be giving his character.
I will not pay much attention to these OLVs either. Everything about Udaan is so confusing. I don't consider not even the internal thoughts. Even those are confusing.
