Suraj keeps Chakor in the dark and he never defends himself, even when he was acting like a jerk and she started her verbal abuse on him, he never said anything in return to actually defend himself, all he did was being either sarcastic or he was smirking and I will be honest with you : even I thought Suraj said nothing, becoz he was nothing but a monster

I started reading updates after the leap and to be precise, call it bad timing, when the rape attempt happened...so you can imagine what my reaction was when I read that and I thought NO...never in hell can Chakor fall for such a monster

But when I started watching the episodes after joined the discussion forum, I started seeing things in a different perspective

And I am more than curious to know what it is that will keep Suraj into KNs trap and what it is that Suraj wants after all this is over

@Esha, what you said about Suraj's behavior during their fights...reminds me something. She kept insulting him about what he did to Imli and he never once said anything against Imli, he did called her servant, but he never insulted her character or her dignity, he never used bad words to describe her. He could have also tell Chakor: "Just shut up about your characterless sister! Do you know how many times she has thrown herself at me? What was any man supposed to do in this situation? And why should I have married her when she is so cheap?" But he did nothing of this sort. He kept quite and let the sisters to insult him.

I didn't see it quite like you did Claudia. I liked that he took the blame and felt bad.
He is at a low point. He needs to be broken before he comes out stronger to bang the heads of the evil trio. If nothing else, his stronger self will be there for Chakor. She needs him. She is going crazy with fear and bordering on hysteria. As sad as I was watching Suraj, it was much needed. He is a diamond in the rough. Has to go through a lot to shine to its full potential.

You said it right...Suraj needs to break down completely, the mighty has to come down completely, before he can rise like a phoenix ...

Chakor is completely broken at the moment , thinking that KN is going to kill Suraj and she lost it totally

I think after Suraj becomes a bandhua, only than will her mind start working again how to save Suraj from this trap further, but in the meantime she needs Suraj's support to hold herself together and that is exactly what Suraj is going to give her : moral support

I wouldn't be surprised. ImVaan are weak and selfish.
