esha.

forgot to add in the other thread.

dikra is the gujarati word for 'son'. (no i am not gujju)
don't tell me you don't know about the epicness of a serial called Saath nibhana Saathiya and the epic character called Ahem Dikra there?
girl you are missing some real epicness from tele land.

since the word 'dikra' got associated with Ahem ji the word got a whole new meaning now.

what it means?

just like adarsh bahu describes annoying tele bahus.
Dikra represents non-productive lamp posts of betas.

before anyone decides to lynch me let me tell you i even used to call my Sanskaar (and man i was obsessed with him. Swaragini serial) a dikra too when he started channeling door knob. why door knob? coz flower pot atleast adds to the aesthetic value to the room.
so really it is nothing personal.
i still love Suraj and adore VJ.

i solemnly swear.

Posting here since I didn't think anyone would bash me up here.
I seriously feel that Chakor's whole 'I think I'm in love thing' was to accommodate for VJ's absence and keep the viewers kinda, you know, glued to their screens. I don't expect that the girl fell for him somewhere in between and literally all of us here missed it. Nah, that wouldn't have happened.

Also, Suraj's character seems to be dampening. (Again, please don't throw chappals) Like, in the beginning, he was this confident guy whose only aim was to please his Dad. Okay, I agree betrayal has hurt him, but that should have increased his ferocity and not left him like a lost vegetable (Am I making sense? I do hope I am.)
Suraj's character was, is like no other. But I feel somewhere in between the CV's have dissolved the image of Suraj. They're trying to rush the whole 'love' thing between SuKor I guess, which is why Suraj, as a character, has lost his charm (VJ still aces the role.)

Also, I agree with @Esha. You cannot just start SuKor love story before clearing the major incidents of the child and the molestation thing. And also, if Imli devi can stop coming in between some of the small SuKor moments we get, that would be great.

haww.. how lucky can one get!😆.

i am crazy but really not that crazy that i'll be watching that serial. it is too epic for poor old me.
but try and watch atleast one clipping of 'dikra' moment. trust me - the funny quotient is gonna multiply by hundreds.

now why have i started watching this serial. easy enough. saw Sukor and then went ahead and got to know more about Suraj; saw the sheer potential of a perfect fairy tale and voila - here i am.

besides i have this inbuilt kameena meter in me which unerringly finds the meanest actual waale mean bad asses and latch onto them.
so i fell in love with Suraj.
and i want him back.😔. not horrid waala Suraj but the diabolically smart and a go-getter one.
he has got brains. he has got brawn. he has got moves. how about letting him use them all?

i love his sweet version too but let it be reserved only for Chakor. don't make a marsh mellow out of him.

@bold: Nimmi di! THAT! That is what I was searching for. Seriously, Suraj in the beginning wasn't dull or dumb at all. Now they portray him like he needs a saviour all the time, his Princess Charming.
I do agree they're broken, but emotionally. They need to work on themselves, together would be better.
And frankly, like, thumbs up to Suraj for starting to see everyone's true colours and all, but where are YOU? Suraj has lost himself (or rather, CV's have lost him) while making him realize everyone's true colours. Where's that confident munda who planned the entire bride swap in just seconds after he saw Ranjana peeking through the door? 😕 Frankly, his brain works a lot more in the 'what needs to be done' mode, I don't know why Cv's are, as you said, making a marshmellow (😆) out of him.

Remember there was an article of VJ when the bandhua track was about to start and in this article VJ said that Suraj character has undergone some changes , but one cannot alter too much with this character.
Also Suraj can never be made a chocolate boy hero, which is quite understandable giving the way his character started in the first place and we don't expect Suraj to become a chocolate boy hero at all. One Vivaan is more than we can take at the moment...
VJ also mentioned that SuKor will never admit that they are in love, becoz of their ego's , so VJ prefectly understands the nuances of both characters actually, not only Suraj

But what do we see happening ???? The total opposite.
In most shows CVs love creating MUs btwn the leads just to push the love confession further ahead and like NImmi said here they have a dozens of situations for creating MU's and still they don't explore that , but they are rushing the love confession...I still don't get why ????
There are so many unsolved issues btwn SuKor , what impact will such a love confession have ????
Either they are being super stupid OR super confident

Like Nami said , Chakor has been deprived of genuine love her entire life, that is maybe why she craves for it now that she's getting Suraj's attention
But with so many unsolved issues btwn them , the love confession / love story will not have that much impact...just my opinion

Suraj and marshmellow 🤣 🤣, who would have thought that these 2 names go together.
Suraj that we know was totally karela...totally bitter

But to make him sweet or to make suraj fall in love, the CVs now want to change his entire personality, which is totally unnecessary
A person can fall in love without his personality changing overnite as I said before
Suraj these days has donned the role of damsel in distress

Where is the shrewd, calculative, smartass Suraj ?????
This is our main question !!!!!!

Yes, Suraj can never be made a chocolate boy hero (and God forbid that happening!).
But this whole love feeling they've been showing is ticking me off. LIke, no way are they in love yet.
@bold: Yes, I think that's all. She misses the care (quite ironically, Suraj was the only one who cared and protected her just the same. Look at her actual family!)
You know, when KN first returned, and Chakor went to protect Suraj, Bhuvan told that, How can you just expect Chakor to leave him? She's his wife!
And yesterday he was all, yes, please tell Suraj's whereabouts so that they can kill him.😕

Yes, the village is being deprived of water, I know. But the way they put it across is maddening.
It's like, who cares about Suraj? Let him die. We don't care.
What good days they're expecting after Suraj dies and the only one having the guts to kill KN is gone, I don't know. And Chakor too... she's right now in a state such that no one cares about what SHE wants... she's never the singular noun, she's always the 'people'. It's always her that is targeted and then expected to save the day, sacrificing something.

And I completely agree with your opinion! What love confession are they even thinking about in such circumstances, I don't know.😕

Ladies, I still don't give up to my theory because is the only one who can recreate all this puzzles that Suraj has become ever since August with that stupid ice cream scene.

I think he fell in love with Chakor at first sight. When he came that night at her house it was for her not for Imli. I think he wanted to tell her about his feelings but gave up thinking that he has no chance since she was so in love with Vivaan.

But when the trio planned the swap, he felt entitled "to snatch" Chakor from Vivaan because he also snatched Tina from him. He also didn't want to be punished for a sin that he didn't do. I think he knew right before the marriage that he didn't do anything with Imli. He had some doubts when Imli told him first but when Chakor was about to shoot him, he was very convinced that he didn't do anything wrong.

He didn't try to kill his father but it was convenient for him to make Chakor believe so because he could blackmail her to stay in the marriage.

I believe that everything he did after the marriage was just to keep her by his side either by force or by her own will.

His character is such that I can totally believe that for Chakor's sake he is crazy enough to accept a child that it was not his "sin" as his own baby because in that way Imvaan marriage was protected, to declare that he loves Imli because he thought that this will make Chakor happy, to pretend that he tried to kill his father so that his father be after his life because he knew Chakor will step in and defend him.

He thinks that Chakor likes Vivaan's type of guys, so he tuned down his aggression and his smartness to make her like him and defend him. He is ready to become a bandhua for his father because Chakor will never leave him in that horrible condition and will stay always with him.

Yes, I think he is crazy enough to do all these things. As we can see, he knows nothing about girls. He keeps buying the wrong gifts to Chakor. So he gives her whatever he thinks she wants: his dignity, his pride. In his mind whatever Chakor wants from him, she should have it. If he wanted him to recognize Imli's baby as his, he did it.

I think he was always crazy about her but he feels so shy and so insecure in front of her that he will never dare to utter those three words.

And wouldn't that be really ironically, that the guy that we though he slept so carelessly with a girl, is actually so innocent at heart that he never even had the courage to tell his own wife that he loves her?

Just a positive post for Suraj to compensate for all the negative comments that I've written lately. You know I am thinking very differently.
