Well, I've been waiting to pen down that dedication since I posted the SS shortly after I'd joined up, but you were MIA. Worked out for the best, because this fic, I think is the most worthy of the three.

Suraj was waaay too different from the TV show, I feel. I don't think I can write a good fic if I portray him exactly the way he is in the show. Which is a pity, because I absolutely hate OOC fics...they're an easy way out, I feel.

Again, you mentioned all the little things I put the most thought into. The little nod before the dance was "inspired" by a scene from Outlander, btw so I take no credit for that. And I had plenty of fun with Vivaan and Imli in this one. 😈

YES, I MADE THEM SHARE A BED. Because they should share one instead of being old fashioned and stupid. 😛

Stop thinking your posts would make anyone "doze off". You write the most coherent, eloquent, heartfelt posts...I will make you churn out a SuKor fic one day 😈.

I'm glad I got the dedication on this OS. I love this story. I haven't read your SS yet so I can't judge it, but I'm sure it'll be equally good.

Suraj wasn't OOC in any away in your OS, trust me on that. I have written some fics myself so I know how even when you don't want, the characters turn out to be different than from a show/movie. I'd like to think it's because subconsciously, we are writing the characters the way we want them to shape in the show/movie. And that is what makes some fics so much better than the show itself.

IKR? Why can't they do the pillow wall thing and sleep on the same bed? Unless Chakor is afraid she might not be able to resist all that manly goodness tempting her and jump his bones 😆

Oh man. Somehow, I always find myself being coerced into writing fics. That's what happened before the last time I wrote one 😛 . Thank you for the kind words though. My heart has been inflated to epic proportions 😳

But don't you ever call your writing crap. You shouldn't. You really have a gift for writing. You're ideas are so intelligently organized and your style is so professional.

Suraj having his own job, taking care of Chakor, leaving outside of the haveli, Suraj and Chakor sharing the same bed, their sincerely talk to one another, Suraj trying to melt his ways in order to help Chakor reconciling with her parents, and of course Suraj admitting saving Chakor and not Imli...all of this events made your story so captivating.

But what I like the most about your writing is the depiction of emotions through actions and thoughts. So many emotions involved into a single scene.

My favorite part were these lines:

She continued to wear her mangalsutra and sindoor. He had always expected her to take them both off eventually and his heart leapt with joy every day because she didn't. He knew he was being silly, but he didn't care.

I could totally feel Suraj pains, helpless, hopes and dreams regarding his marriage, everything merged with the fear of being rejected if he ever confesses his feelings.
