...yeah. exactly. pretty pathetic. he could have done so much better than have acted so desperately. Bella really didn't know what she wanted and then she felt like it was right to love them both? she even told them that. how is that fair in any way?

That is unfair.

And I adhere the idea of best friends falling love, naturally makes more sense to me.

But given, this is supernatural, I never expected anything. Also, everything was fixated and finished when I started reading. Though, Jake's kiss to Bella I would say is more moving than desperate, even in that moment he tries to convey his feeling to her, never really gives up!

And on that note, I would take your leave gals.
