Andrea Powell Cast As Sasha In 'Breaking Dawn'?

Actress Andrea Powell announced on her Twitter & Facebook page that she has been cast in Breaking Dawn as Sasha, the creator and mother figure of Tanya, Kate and Irina.

More to come, but looks like I'll be making an appearance in the next #Twilight movie…and that my loyalties are now divided. #weretovamp

Bio Andrea Powell is an actress, best known as impeccably dressed mama werewolf Karen Crezski in the ABC series, The Gates. Check out more on Andrea on her webpage.

Sasha created Vasilii, an immortal child. She kept his existence from Tanya and her sisters, to save them from the fate of being executed by the Volturi, which seems to indicate that she expected it to happen. The Volturi got involved and executed Sasha by means of burning, with Vasilii in her arms. Tanya and her sisters witnessed their mother's death but were not destroyed afterwards. Their mother's death instilled a healthy respect for the laws of the vampire world in the sisters.

Which is why Irina went to the Volturi about Renesmee. Irina thought that Renesmee was an immortal child and not a human/vampire hybrid.

Director Bill Condon must be doing a flash back scene of Sasha'a story. I wonder who'll be cast for the role of the immortal child?
