The 'Twilight' saga continues as Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson prepare for 'Eclipse'

Summit Entertainment has precious time to waste as its popular "Twilight" Personalities speed towards completion of their latest film projects to bring an "Eclipse" to light.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are scheduled to return their "Twilight" personas of Bella Swan, Edward Culen and Jacob Black on August 17, which is when "Eclipse" has been scheduled to begin production in Vancouver, British Columbia. The third book in the wildly popular series created by Stephenie Meyer, "Eclipse" is scheduled to be completed around October 31 or Halloween appropriately enough.

Director David Slade will be adding fresh blood to the film series by helming "Eclipse," which has been written by Melissa Rosenberg ("Dexter"), who adapted the first two books in the series. "Eclipse" is expected to hit screens on June 30, 2010.

"New Moon," the eagely awaited second installment, is set for a November 20th opening.

Seriously is it just me or they are rushing the movies all too fast? :s Oh well, at long as we get to enjoy Eclipse next yr, i wouldnt wanna say anything no more then 😆

Personally I liked it soooooooo much better than New Moon.

But Taylor's gonna be lookinn fiiinee in New Moon 😉☺️

i think they are rushing the movies too much.
but as long as taylor is in Eclipse , im fine with it.
and cant wait for New moon, as i like Eclipse and new moon the most.😳

I cannot wait as Eclipse is so much better than New Moon because the jealousy and rivalry between Edward and Jacob is at its best. My fav. chapter in that book is 'Fire and Ice' when they both discuss Bella while she is drifting in and out of slumber, but as Edward is mind-reading, we only get to hear his answers not Jacob's questions, yet her interpretations of the conversation are quite amusing. I have to admit that it is such a shame that Stephenie Meyer never finished Midnight Sun as that was all from Edward's POV and that was something i felt was always missing.
