Kabhi naram toh kabhi garam (Blow hot blow cold)

I originally associated this idiom kabhi naram toh kabhi garam with Lavanya, next Anuja, and now Pakhi.

Lavanya even today showed how self-centered and conniving she can be. Her brother and she treated Pakhi in a worse manner and yet she had the nerve to complain about Veer without even trying to understand what it is that actually occurred between Veer and Pakhi.

Lavanya was stunned by Pakhi's response that she could not leave Veer. Worse still she compared Veer to an animal. This is the same person on whose wrist that she tied Rakhi!! Lavanya, of course will never forgive Pakhi for abandoning Anshuman - although she herself abandoned him the minute he was dead!!

In any event, the CVs are packing her and Girish off for good. They will move to Delhi and bid adieu to the show.

Anuja has already said her taa taa, bye bye.

Now coming to Pakhi. She is living a world of double standards.

On one hand, she claims she does not like Veer hovering around her and on the other hand she is continuously intruding his space. After the rejection and humiliation, she now claims to be protecting and saving him!! If she is truly in love with Anshuman - why did she not go with Lavanya today?

Now coming to Pakhi's subsequent display of double standards. Why is Pakhi using a kid (Rhea) as a tool to confront Jiji and manipulate Veer?

On one hand Pakhi accuses Veer for having taking advantage of Ayaan's innocence and convincing him of the need for a father. In the process, Pakhi totally forgot that Ayaan has been through the experience of losing a parent (his mother) and knows the value of having one. So Veer did not have to manipulate him - Ayaan simply did not want to relive a bad situation.

On the other hand, Pakhi has no qualms manipulating Rhea for her own purposes. Pakhi does not like Veer and his relatives. Then why is Pakhi interfering in their lives. Why does she not let them be?

Pakhi is mentally unravelling. Thus far her mental polestar was Anshuman. Then it was getting Ayaan's custody. Now she is at cross purposes with her inner self. On one hand she has, in her psyche, accepted Veer as her spouse and acknowledged the need to live and behave as one. On the other, she has not come to terms (in her psyche) with the death of Anshuman.

Slowly and steadily Pakhi is moving on. The CVs are using Veer's relatives to display her paradoxical thinking. Her behavior is in opposites but she is moving ahead that is the key message that the CVs are trying to convey.

Paakhi's polar behaviour stems for the fundamental fact that throughout her life she has always believed her future is with Ansuman and only Ansuman - the phrase Ansuman's Paakhi stems from that self belief.
From a practical perspective she knows that you are very lucky if you find true love once in your life. Finding it twice is near impossible so if you are lucky enough grab it with both ends. And that is precisely what she was saying in Nandani's case.

She knows deep down what she has in Veer. Not just someone who loves her but also someone who is similar to her in almost every aspect so that together they are amazing.

I think paakhi has yet to realise love comes in many forms.

Her love for Ansuman (Veer's for Kirti for that matter) was the romantic, fairy tale type - hearts and flowers, feeling those emotions for the first time, passion, assumption that you will be living in the same blissful happy state forever.

But love is also caring for someone, being their strength when they are weak, respecting their values and principles, companionship, sharing their joys and sorrows etc. That is a mature relationship. It does not mean that you cannot have romance, passion hearts and flowers. Those things have their place but are not the only things that matter. This is what she has with Veer.

Her problem is that she has etched in her mind for soo long and made promise to Ansuman that she will remain his forever. Breaking that mindset, promise is a huge step. Whether she can do it at this juncture I am not sure.

But they are mature adults not love's young dream so as such she needs to offer what she can, be honest and say that she may never be able to offer anymore and give him the choice to decide if that will be enough forever.
