Paakhi's polar behaviour stems for the fundamental fact that throughout her life she has always believed her future is with Ansuman and only Ansuman - the phrase Ansuman's Paakhi stems from that self belief.
From a practical perspective she knows that you are very lucky if you find true love once in your life. Finding it twice is near impossible so if you are lucky enough grab it with both ends. And that is precisely what she was saying in Nandani's case. She knows deep down what she has in Veer. Not just someone who loves her but also someone who is similar to her in almost every aspect so that together they are amazing.I think paakhi has yet to realise love comes in many forms. Her love for Ansuman (Veer's for Kirti for that matter) was the romantic, fairy tale type - hearts and flowers, feeling those emotions for the first time, passion, assumption that you will be living in the same blissful happy state forever. But love is also caring for someone, being their strength when they are weak, respecting their values and principles, companionship, sharing their joys and sorrows etc. That is a mature relationship. It does not mean that you cannot have romance, passion hearts and flowers. Those things have their place but are not the only things that matter. This is what she has with Veer. Her problem is that she has etched in her mind for soo long and made promise to Ansuman that she will remain his forever. Breaking that mindset, promise is a huge step. Whether she can do it at this juncture I am not sure. But they are mature adults not love's young dream so as such she needs to offer what she can, be honest and say that she may never be able to offer anymore and give him the choice to decide if that will be enough forever.
Thank you Sweetie for the compliment although I would never feel comfortable giving advice to anyone on anything.
