⭐️Taming the Shrew Take 19: The Feeling of Uneasiness

Finally we get to see in Rhea and Lavanya the feeling of uneasiness. A moral disturbance which one feels when one has done certain things that appear wrong to the inner compass or conscience.

The inner turmoil in both of them is obvious. For in spite of all their outward rudeness and selfish behavior, there is some thing in the depths which has a feeling of perfection, a greatness, a truth. And both Rhea and Lavanya know they are doing something against their inner truth. This inner truth is conscience.

I am so glad to see them being truthful to their own inner being. Yes, it would have been nice if Rhea had paid heed to VeePaa or Lavanya to Girish. But this is more beautiful, more sincere, more human - and very well depicted by the CVs.

I like this depiction better because the CVs are showing an increasing self-awareness that is spontaneously arising in both characters. Both characters are perceptibly drawn to the higher nature that is inherent in each one of us. They are struggling to overcome the inferior qualities that is encouraging them to do wrong to others. Only when one realizes inwardly that one's actions are wrong without being tossed about by inferior qualities can one fearlessly and unhesitatingly do that which is right and good.

Oh!! I am in awe of the CVs that they had the courage to show in a daily soap the subtle release of these inner qualities - that make us better humans.

The CVs should also be commended for depicting VeePaa emotions. Both Pakhi and Veer know they are facing possibly facing defeat and the loss of their kids. But both are calmly waiting for the axe to fall. One can see the peace of a person who has done his/her best on both their faces. Yet along with the calmness - there is a quiet worry, anxiety - and hope. Hope that may be before the 5 minutes are up - some miracle will happen. For surely only a miracle would make Rhea realize that she is heading the wrong way - only a miracle would rouse Lavanya from the follies of pride.

Girish too was simply amazing. He was like a soul determined to do that which is right to awaken Rhea and Lavanya. It was clear that he was feeling hurt that the change he desired was not happening soon. It was clear that he wished he did not have to do something this drastic. It was clear that inwardly he knew he was doing the right thing for Rhea and Lavanya. It was clear that no matter what he is a true friend of VeePaa.

Girish has always been the true gentleman in this serial. May be at times he was weak - but there was no doubt that he would not deliberately choose wrong or hurt people. But in this episode he outshone his best performance. The emotions in his eyes, the sad composure on his face, the reluctance of his hand to hold the pen and sign were truly touching.

This episode - none of the characters - were acting. They were truly living and breathing Rhea, Girish, Lavanya, VeePaa, and Anuja.

My verdict for this episode is ⭐️ 5 ⭐️

Yes 5 stars - the concept, the portrayal, the direction every little detail of the scenes was simply superb!!

The CVs, cast and crew deserve a thunderous applause 👏

It was a very good episode anonee I watched three times
The way Paakhi and Veer handle Rhea and try to make her realize the mistake she is doing...

then Rhea 's reaction while signing for marriage document...her expressions AND Lavanya's rest lessness was showing in her face

Here even Paakhi was in a tense mood...

All the scenes whether it is Veepaa ,Rhea or Lavanya picturised with well written dialogues so well The full credits should go to CV

I was eagerly awaiting your little episode insight...and it was as the episode worth the wait. As always brilliantly put . This is what I can say ( inspired by your poetry on the other thread!)

CHANGES...by Vinnie R.
The tide has began changing
The axis their world stood on Shifting.
The storm with in is brewing
The mind in turmoil thinking...

Is this really worth it? Am I that selfish?
My desires my dreams in the end Is the the fruit of my wish?
Accepting the one I rejected
seeing things in light a new?
What is more shameful
Admitting i was wrong... or doing what is right.

My desires I can have with a stroke of a pen...
Yet all my peace of mind, hell even my dignity will end.
My ego is in fight...will it loose will it win...
By the stroke of a pen...the world will spin again!!!

Anonee I agree with every word you have said. The last episode was sublime. Each character's nuances were projected so subtly that in turn it made them more pronounced.

A fantastic achievement by the whole team both in front and behind the camera.

Actually in my humble opinion the episodes of the whole weak have been fantastic - from Veer's joy at being accepted by Reha turning to complete heartbreak when his trust was broken, the fury, the disgust and self doubt/recriminations, to trying to get through to Reha, to defending her and Kirti

And through it all Pakhi has been the rock that has held everything together. As she is not emotionally involved at present she has been able to stay calm and rational.

What has been interesting is the bond that is developing between these two - their trust in each other is such that they respect the other's judgement and will go with it/act on it even when they really do not believe/agree with the others point of view. They can read and understand each other and know the right words that lighten the mood (Veer Shivji) or give comfort (after all she is Kirti's daughter). The most touching moment was the comforting, reassuring squeeze of the shoulder first by Pakhi when Veer was at his lowest and then by Veer to Pakhi when he knew that she must be scared out of her wits

Some bonds and relationships transcend everything, Its depth is beyond love, physical relationship and such and I think we are seeing the birth of such a relationship.

All of the actors have done an amazing job but the 2 that have really stood out for me are Jasmine (Reha) and Varun (Veer). Jasmine is playing the spoilt ungrateful over confident Reha to a tee. Varun as Veer is amazing.

As usual great analysis..you said all.

Second you the creatives are doing a fantastic job in unfolding this track..friday Epi was so well picturised..

This guilt conscience Riya ..Lavanya going through it reminds me of the saying of Gandhiji... There is a higher court than courts of justice and that is the court of conscience...It supercedes all other courts..

Lavanya we already saw her reaction running to stop Girish..Now its Riya turn and she will take the right decision this time..Veepaa can't be wrong in their trust upon their children..

Thank you Saveeta for the appreciative comment 😊

More importantly, thank you for sharing Ghandhiji's quote - that is so beautiful and true.

Yes, VeePaa are not wrong in thinking that Rhea will finally take the right decision.
