Monday it is! Yes, the first day of the week is there and for some it already ended but not before you read today's review.
Please note: My busy life started from today, so this means there will be late review updates.

May 26 - Yeh Honsla

'Do not underestimate the power of a common woman'

The three women enjoy their time in Delhi and today was a special day because Deepika got her pay check for her first assignment. Obviously, that calls for a celebration so all three decided to visit Chandi Chowk and have some nice food. Wherever you go, there will always be men who like to annoy/bother/molest women. Delhi is apparently not any different (no offence to those who live in Delhi). Same happens with Deepika; some guy bumps into her accidentally' twice. Enough is enough for the ladies. Both Paakhi and Anuja tell Deepika that a woman should not be treated like that and that she has to teach that guy a lesson. The poor girl hesitates but the support and encourages and decides to teach that guy a lesson. The honsla she got from her friends helped her through this...

Right after that incident, Prateek makes his entry. What we see next is a serious and heated discussion between Prateek and Deepika. The outcome of this is very simple; Prateek calls Deepika characterless, so basically history repeated itself. However the way the girl in this case reacts is a bit different than the other two cases. Deepika gives him one tight slap and defends herself. Ultimately, she calls off the relationship. Despite that, she does feel bad about it. But the only reason that she could take this huge step was because of the honsla she earlier got from Anuja and Paakhi; to fight for and defend herself.

That incident between Deepika and Prateek reminded Paakhi and Anuja of their own story. It is a been there done that situation for them. Anuja lets out all her frustration; how men dare to call them characterless and what expectations the society holds from the journey of a girl to a woman. Paakhi listens quietly. Eventually she tells Anuja that she did not give the agnipareeksha.
She tells that her husband did ask for forgiveness and did whatever was possible to get her back, but she could not go...somehow she just could not... not even for Ayaan.
Paakhi ask Anuja about her kids; she wants to know if she ever tried to search for them, if she ever tried to go back. Anuja tells and explains her journey of how she used to write letters to her kids but they never reached them because their father would not let so. They must hate her, she believed so iss liye she quit the search... Ever since, the only thing that gives her honsla is that one photo she has and the puja; praying for the wellbeing for their kids, because that is all what matters to her.

A mother-to-be, Lavanya, recalls her mother. Her she must have felt when her kids did not try to search for their mother and how their mother misses her kids but has moved on in life. Lavanya also realizes what big mistake they made for believing in whatever their father said to them about their mother. Lavanya was sad, very sad but thank God she has Girish who is her honsla, who is her courage and support in this emotional time.

Favorite scenes/dialogues:
- Conversation between Anuja and Paakhi
- Parallel conversation between Anuja and Lavanya

Last week, I had two questions: How did Anuja not recognize her son and why Anshuman behaved so nicely with Tanya?
Well, I got my answer for the first question. Anuja explained that after a while she did not search for her kids anymore, hence she does not know how they look like. The answer to this question could have been better (yes, I am being a bit critical here) but at least, it is much better than the answer to the second question. Even worse, there is NO answer to that question.
Anshuman's behavior and attitude toward Tanya is still the same, in fact I think it has become even friendlier. Even after Lavanya left (extra points for her to do that), Anshuman continued with his oh-so-friendly-sweet conversation with Tanya. While Tanya being Tanya, was being even more sarcastic than before but no effect on Anshuman whatsoever. The precap made it even worse.

Am I satisfied with the answer? First answer; a bit, could have been better but anyways it will do. Second answer; absolutely not. I seriously still do not get why Anshuman behaves the way he does with Tanya. Is there growth in his character? Yes, it is so evident but this is the only part where I do not get or rather do not agree with the growth.
Starting to fall in love, realizing you are in love, trying to become a better person is all good and a part of growth but since when does that include becoming friends with your enemy and forgive them for whatever evil they have done to you? See, I believe nobody in this world is mahaan. Of course, there are people who forgive others quickly and move on but here we are not talking about someone who stole money from the other. We are talking about serious life issues means attempt to murder, which is why I really do not understand Anshuman's behavior. Anyways, I will give the CVs another chance. Who knows they might (pleasantly) surprise us the way Anshuman was with Tanya's mulaqat.

Today I am a bit critical to the CVs: there have been some amazing zabardast episodes of Tumhari Paakhi, in fact the good ones are more than the bad' ones. Acting wise, this show has never disappointed me. However, the execution and writing could have been a bit better since the last two episodes especially the scene where Prateek makes his entry and the way history repeated itself. Having said that ups and down toh hoti rehti hai in shows iss liye will wait for the ups.

'Yeh Hosla Kaise Jhuke, Yeh Aarzoo Kaise Ruke'
Some women did not get the honsla when they needed, iss liye they had to find that honsla themselves. Today those women have found it and are more than happy to encourage other women to defend themselves.

'Manzil Mushkil hai to kya,
Dhundla Sahil hai to kya,
Tanha Ye Dil hai to Kya'

Manzil mushkil toh yeh lekin na mumkin nahin...
Dil kabhi kabhi tanha ho jaati hai...
Lekin yeh honsla toh hai that is keeping these mothers so strong and courageous

'Subah phir aayegi'
Ek din woh subah zaroor aayegi jab ek maa apne bacche ke saath hogi aur Paakhi apne Anshuman aur Ayaan ke saath...

Precap: It is better not to say anything except for this: Tanya's new plan...

I can never end my day without reading your review! I love it more than the episode sometimes. . You know I had different expectations from this track, and I have beaten the same path so many times, that I better not say anything, right? As much as I knew this wont happen, I was hoping that when Prateek calls Dipika characterless, somewhere, Paakhi will realize something about Anshuman differently. But that didn't happen, and exactly the opposite happened. Just as I feared Dipika now realizes self respect is supreme. Indeed it is, but somehow my dil is asking this question - if everyone starts thinking like that, what will it lead us to? Regarding your second question, I have kind of convinced myself that it is due to Anshuman's low self esteem. I am not saying it is the right thing to do - I wish he thought and behaved differently. But unfortunately Indian television does not like grays. They like blacks, and they like whites. EXTREMES. There are no in betweens. No wonder, I enjoyed Anshuman's character before because he was so gray. He was good at heart but had his weaknesses, which made him real. Like you said no one in the real world is Mahaan. Paakhis dont exist in real world. Even when she is borderline making a wrong decision, it is being made out that she is doing this as a sacrifice and punishment to herself so that Anshuman can learn to love fully. Nor do Tanyas. I have seen obsessed people in real life, but, TV takes negativity to new heights.Real world is full of people like Lavanya and Girish - who make mistakes, silly ones, big ones, and land themselves in soups, but learn and grow. Imagine, except for TRPS, how wonderful it would have been to see the triangle if Tanya had truly been the oxford returned graduate who loved Anshuman, and won the challenge? What would Anshuman do then? To my intelligent mind, that makes for a more endearing story, than the vilification of Tanya. But, like I said, Indian TV loves extremes. So what can I say? Keep calm and watch TP. Like always I am confident they will close this loop and answer your question. Whether we will be satisfied with it or not, is a different story!

My reviews are incomplete without your long and detailed comment.
It was the first thing I had to think of when I saw the scene of Prateek and Deepika, that you won't like it since you had hoped for something different. It would have been indeed nice to do it that way, but well like you always say: female leads are mahaan in every Hindi show.
Even Anshuman seems to follow that path by being over friendly to Tanya. You said it right, there is no gray only black or white. Anyways, at the end of the day this is a Hindi show.

@underlined: I will keep calm and I will to watch. Thanks for that great advice 😛

Great posts and discussions.
Loved the discussion of pakhi and anuja.
some how the dicussuins show that pakhi is not sure of heer decision after seeing the prateek deepika incident. here is a person who just by seeing an incident that too which affected his fiance calling her bachlan.
Anshuman on the otherhand tried to ensure before accusing pakhi and the circumstance leading to that. What else she wants, anshuman has asked forgiveness and she know he love her and he is sincere, she cannot play with aayan 's emotions giving him hope that she will come back.
what more she expects from anshuman?
He cannot just bring his mother back out of the blue. He is trying for that she knowa through aayan all that is happening around.
May be asnhuman's attitude will change tanya at last
also this leads to his winning pakhi over

'Do not underestimate the power of a common woman'

The three women enjoy their time in Delhi and today was a special day because Deepika got her pay check for her first assignment. Obviously, that calls for a celebration so all three decided to visit Chandi Chowk and have some nice food. Wherever you go, there will always be men who like to annoy/bother/molest women. Both Paakhi and Anuja tell Deepika that a woman should not be treated like that and that she has to teach that guy a lesson. The poor girl hesitates but the support and encourages and decides to teach that guy a lesson. The honsla she got from her friends helped her through this...

Delhi and NCR are is quite unsafe and it was daylight and she has friends with her . Liked the scene and Deepika,s excitement of getting her first check and spending it . Makers quite a bold move to shoot in crowded Chandni Chowk . Deepika let that person go but when she got encouragement from her two friends , she became bold . Problem in real life girls do not want to respond as people have become insensitive ,just turn their faces . And Deepika is now confident who at every step was talking to her fiance about what she should do and listening to him .

She was earlier asking Pakhi about self respect and ego . She got the courage from these two ladies and understood what Pakhi was talking about .Deepika was like bullet train and gave him back very strongly as she recognized her own power . So her honsla came from within which was awakened by his room mates .

When both were talking about past and their story , it was just one word was common, characterless . And was listening to Anuja,s dialogues ,how girls are trained while growing up how to behave after marriage and still in some conservative family where even having masters qualifications , sit at home waiting to be get married. But Pakhi was brought up in different environment where she had her say and she could take decision and healthy family environment , instilled in her values , dignity ans selfless love . Both had different situations . Anuja,s husband never looked back and even did not let her connect with children and poisoned their minds . And this fear also kept her away and family has moved out , she did not had any contact ,even not his brother .
She tells that her husband did ask for forgiveness and did whatever was possible to get her back, but she could not go...somehow she just could not... not even for Ayaan.
Is Pakhi is not punishing Ayaan and depriving him of mother,s love ? Whats hs fault , he grew up from child to adult at the spur of moment . He needs healthy family environment where he learns the value . Anshuman was deprived with no fault of his and grew up in cut throat world where heart does not have any meaning . Pakhi knows all this and Anshuman,s psyche ,whhat made him bitter and distrustful of woman . And Anshuman regretted and reached her the same day asking for forgiveness . That time Pakhi,s wounds were raw and she needed time to introspect away from Anshuman and giving space to him also .

Ever since, the only thing that gives her honsla is that one photo she has and the puja; praying for the well being for their kids, because that is all what matters to her.
Anuja story is quite poignant where she even did not have parents support and i know that time in small town , people can be very cruel if any girl is left with stigma of characterless . Her life must be hell still she survived with the picture of her children and went away to survive . Still her kids are with her .
Lavanya and Anshuman both must be feeling guilty ,not ever trying to find their mother and this never crossed their mind . they believed their father . Both children had rootless upbringing with struggle .

Favorite scenes/dialogues:
- Conversation between Anuja and Paakhi
- Parallel conversation between Anuja and Lavanya

Yes both the tracks were done beautifully
but i found difference in both women situations.

Even after Lavanya left (extra points for her to do that), Anshuman continued with his oh-so-friendly-sweet conversation with Tanya. While Tanya being Tanya, was being even more sarcastic than before but no effect on Anshuman whatsoever. The precap made it even worse.
You are also still going with Anshuman,s over the top going attitude . It was really surprising , I think he is not bitter any more and found her to be more gracious .Tanya still in her own world that she has made Anshuman jealous with her new toy . And one excuse can be this that he is entangled in his own problems and recently heard about mother with daughter and DIL.

Who knows they might (pleasantly) surprise us the way Anshuman was with Tanya's mulaqat.

Its not yu Even CVs will also be looking for answers . Till now never saw ant illogical track , has reason behind . But Anshuman greeting with smile Tanya , What a pleasant surprise , was confusing and i thought may be so many going on problems created amnesia . You can not forgive a person who tried to kill another person and threatened his own son . Its wait and watch .

Today I am a bit critical to the CVs: there have been some amazing zabardast episodes of Tumhari Paakhi, in fact the good ones are more than the bad' ones. Wait to read your comments as you very well analyze the episode with your titles that gooes with your take and Hosla goes with your take .
You get honsla when someone gives you a little encouragement and then it comes within itself . Pakhi is product of healthy environment where she can take care of herself and Anuja learnt while struggling from the life as life is great teacher . Pakhi should not be leaving alone to Ayaan as he needs mother . Its his growing up period ,we get our values while growing up in healthy family environment

Here i think his father,s bitterness overtook him , he was blinded with his father,s words ,where his young mind was poisoned against not trusting woman . Anshuman is not bad person , yes was mean and selfish when brought pakhi but was never rude to her . Girish showed him the mirror and he realized what he did and that time Lavanya said the same words about father , poisoning the young mind .

Pakhi kind of girlls are rare species in this world but still are there . I liked Anshuman,s character as sharat,s Male characters are flawed where female characters are strong with dignity and self respect. But its time Pakhi should be thinking about Ayaan for whom she came and be giving him healthy family atmosphere which Anshuman lacked . Pakhi being a mature and sensible person , very well can understand how this is going to effect Ayaan , he will also loose his childhood

Even when she is borderline making a wrong decision, it is being made out that she is doing this as a sacrifice and punishment to herself so that Anshuman can learn to love fully. Nor do Tanyas. Why Tanya has to turn negative ? in every other show negative characters go over board . Once can show how Tanya slowly change . Till now saw logic behind but now its time for Pakhi to do some introspect and think about Anshuman,s rgret and his efforts to apology . Its not easy for her as she just went with one test after another. . This show i found different where logic was there fot actions ,were not putting the things under the rugs and were not dragging .

Great analysis and some points to ponder about..

"Today I am a bit critical to the CVs: there have been some amazing zabardast episodes of Tumhari Paakhi, in fact the good ones are more than the bad' ones. Acting wise, this show has never disappointed me. However, the execution and writing could have been a bit better since the last two episodes especially the scene where Prateek makes his entry and the way history repeated itself. Having said that ups and down toh hoti rehti hai in shows iss liye will wait for the ups. "

This is my opinion..For a first time i'm feeling a little disappointed with the scenario..i dont know may be i expected a bit more from the Delhi track..for me something missing..i mean that gripping scenario that always keep me glued to the show..

Agree pakhi selfrespect has taken a blow ..Anuja same and now creatives had to add Deepika too in the picture.how does that prateek land there all of a sudden and doing his drama..why a history repeat?..it beats me here..

Just a little lost about pakhi characterisation..hope the creatives dont end her being a preachy woman...

Pakhi asking Anuja about her kids..what about her and Ayaan..is her Ego..swabhiman more bigger than wanting to be with her son..will this distance relationship work forever if she does not wish to forgive Anshuman?..why Tanya is back and for what purpose.why Anshuman has become a forgive and forget person?...what pakhi wants of her life?..these are questions that makes me ponder are the creatives losing the track somehow in this separation of the couple..its too much of an amalgam for me ..may be for a first i'm a little critical about the show but still hoping for a better execution of this track..

Thats it and giving the creatives benefit of doubt to bring that essence back .of course will keep reading your views and time permit i will surely penned down my POV..

Thanks jakr 😊

Indeed, now it is high time to know what Paakhi really wants. My friend I have discussed this a few times but no answer yet. She does think back to those nice and sweet memories with Anshuman but also remembers that horrible moment...this means what? She can't let go of that...
