Loved the bit when she got the feeling it was him, the reaction of the family was very fitting and refreshing to see them not mince their words...

Sush the signs the cv's keeping giving us is great touch looks like its faith and they are meant to be together.

I love the lead actors, setting and the story is good So far so good v excited for today.

Enjoyed reading your review as usual ^_^

ne ways ...have watched all the 3 episodes of paakhi ...
Sush excellent 3 threads ..have been reading them all even if not replying...
.the story is getting me hooked ...not sure whether I like anshuman's character ..he does come out as manupulative , selfish , calculative and what not ...if i see his two marriages ( the one where there was a kid) and TANYA business ...a bit of gold digger ...social climber ...may be not, he might be a successful business man in his own right ...but those marriages seem little to do with matters of the heart...
so so far not liking him...acting, directionboth are good , little understated touch of comedy excellent ...and yes he is going to be trapped by his over confidence ...love the paakhi character ..let us see where it goes...well thank you guys ,,,I would have never picked up a second show but for you ...
does anyone know whether the novel had a happy ending or not ,,,,saratchandra has a penchant for sad endings...
on EBP i have still not written it off ...I strongly recommend you watch the 13 nov epi ..for 2 things 1 ) aastha is not going to be any wall flower.. see how strong her rebuttal was when he threatend to break off the rishta
2) and you must, you absolutely must watch it for Anjali ...
oh btw sang did you see our client still remains lovey dovey ...no signs of any thing except a regular (littele despo) hubby...
he surprised me too ..LOL.. i was expecting thoda bahut revenge
.saamne waale lawyers to kursi se gir jaayenge if they see that ...arpi meri jaan how are you?

Sort of gave up on epk2 but if shlok is not taking revenge then with don't know what to say it got too much for me with the mushy mushy romance cheesy stuff plus sasbahu but I will take you word for it and watch it all this weekend. I hope it gets back to track. ^^

Hi Adii, Hamida and AD...
Delighted to see your posts...!😃

Aditi,
You don't like Anshuman? Ha ha...do visit often and early so that we can have a fun discussion for and against...he is very interesting for sure...

It is very cold here too...hovering close to zero...but no snow yet...apart from a few flurries last week that didn't stick to the road...

I saw pictures of Anjali crying...abused? I don't know man...abuse and all is heavy stuff...Romance or action are my genres...drama is usually not...

Any way DC says she is abroad for 2 months can't post...Ani, Anj, and now sang and Sofna are also missing...😕

AD...the dinner scene was good...the skinny jeans effect was hilarious!!!😆

@red:- Exactly my point too. I can't stand torture and abuse. Nope no heart for that. And I certainly can't take that in a serial that is named Pyaar.

The one thing that is going good for Tumhari Pakhi is that the story is very straight forward and I don't think we are going to have abuse angle here and that is why I am set with this show.

PS...on second thoughts ...Aditi may have been referring to good acting skills of actress playing Anj...I know you and I are really gaga over Paakhi...but lets recognize some of our friends are still enjoying EBP...I have been guilty of comparing and perhaps have said something I shouldn't have ...to compare the two shows...but like you I feel done with EBP...

No doubt on the acting skills of the side cast in EBP Sush and remember we all predicted that Niranjan is going to the actual villian in this show. That being said, I really do think that EBP show is quite regressive for the time slot it is airing on. It is not a late night show and given that its prequel was a huge romantic and soft serial, this really feels horrible. Agar itna hi domestic abuse pe serial banana tha, then they could have gone with the original name Aastha only right. That gets my goat. All said and done, I was over with EBP the moment they showed Aastha over looking the insults of her family when she got swept by the magic of Shlokie boy's love. Nope as a girl I can't stomach that.

So he tells he about his past...that he has been married and has a son ( hmmm. Thought it was a daughter) ...

Why do I think he can tell everything but still can't get himself to talk about the divorce papers...

Loved Paakhi for being so perceptive and direct to ask him

Ha he come to take her or scare her into leaving him...

Anshboy...you have met your match!!!

Sush, it was mentioned Son only in the wiki 😊 IK has a daughter, not Anshuman...

Than playing games, actually Ansh is unable to talk about divorce... Something stops him... Maybe he too started feeling for her... Let's see how the precap plays...

And thanks for explaining us Florida effect 😃 Loved it & so apt for Ankhi...

I am in love with Paakhi's character... But I like Anshuman too... He is selfish & manipulative... All of us do have those traits to some extent... About the second marriage, yes he might not have married her out of love... But he had been fulfilling his commitments till she was alive... They won't show that part for sure... Most probably it will be left to our assumption only...Now that she is dead, he is trying to get married to another girl of his status... So far I feel he hasn't done anything wrong... About trying to getting divorce from Paakhi, he wants to move on from a girl who he thinks won't be a perfect match for him... So I don't blame him... He will soon realize that Paakhi is smart, well-educated & is perfect for him 😊

Hey I am becoming Ansh's lawyer 😆

One more thing I am curious to see how good Anshuman will be as a dad? But I guess he won't be an ideal father; he might be ignoring his fatherly duties while being a successful businessman...

I guess the novel had happy ending only... If not also, the show will have a happy ending only... I am sure 😊

The episode was not bad...paakhi has that unknown..untold sense of belonging to someone deep inside her that a mere touch from him was all that was needed to make her proclaim that he was her long lost bridegroom ...Anshuman is a guy with different motives..he wants to get rid of her...glad to see that he is not falling for her beauty...but will ultimately fall for that pure soul that she is...

as Arpi says...thoda filmy hai but this kind of romance is what makes us forget reality and enjoy that blissfull feeling of love and fairytale romance...precisely what I love to watch...

so far there is no romance..its just some unknown feelings...that is making Paakhi not give up on him yet and Anshuman to not let go of this girl...the buildup of their meeting and subsequent meetings is beautifully picturised...

I love her family...the way they are shielding her...even in a remote village where girls are usually burden and scapegoats..u see a whole bunch of men who value women with love and affection and understanding...during the dinner scene..u see them allowing the women to express their opinion and not suppress them and also that unconditional love that all have for Paakhi...she is indeed blessed...and it will be this particular upbringing of hers that will teach Anshuman the value of life and love😊
