Chapter-5

Hrishaan after seeing Kalyani slowly cups Sampada's face and shuts her mouth and says in a lazy tone, "Sweetheart tumhe dekhkar aisa kyun lag raha hai jaise tumne koi bhoot dekh liya hai."

"Ye nahi ho sakta," Sampada steps back, "ye nahi ho sakta." And Sampada stumbles over a chair.

"Dhyan se," Hrishaan says, "Kahin lagi to nahi aapko?"

Sampada runs away.

Hrishaan's monologue, "Abhi to mere badle ki sirf ye first installment hai. Jo jo dard tumne meri behen, mere bete aur mujhe diye hain Deshmukh parivar ke har sadasya ko uski byaaj sahit keemat chukaani hogi."

Meanwhile, as Kalyani returns from her graduation ceremony, she doesn't see anyone at the house.

"Aai!" She calls.

"Maai aau Saheb ke saath bahar gayi hui hai," Atharv says, "Kalyani ab to tum graduate ho gayi ho and hamari engagement ko bhi teen mahine ho gaye hain." Atharv starts coming closer to Kalyani. Kalyani steps back.

Flashback: Six months ago, Kalyani went to jail at Atul's birthday. She says today's your birthday. Ask for any gift you want. Atul asks her to get married. Kalyani says but papa. Atul says I can ask for anything.

A boy's family visits to see Kalyani. Moksh starts crying. The boy asks who is the baby? Kalyani says Moksh will live with her wherever she goes. The family makes faces.

Kalyani in present day thinks only Atharv was the one who accepted Moksh with me but why I'm so uncomfortable when he comes near me.

Moksh starts crying.

"Lagta hai Moksh ki neend khul gayi," Kalyani runs away.

"Kalyani, suno to,"Atharv calls.

When Kalyani reaches her room, she sees Moksh smiling in Hrishaan's arm.

"Moksh ko jhoola jhoolna hai? Jhoola jhoolega Moksh?," Hrishaan swings Moksh. Kalyani says Sambhaalkar. Hrishaan looks at her and smiles. Kalyani too smiles. Kuch to hai tujhse Raabta song starts playing in the background as Moksh holds Kalyani's finger and both Hrishaan and Kalyani's hands brush.
