I re-watched the Kaka-Malhar confrontation scene from yesterday's episode and I have a different opinion than most people here.

Kaka said something about Atul doing the same thing he's trying to do if he were alive and went on and on about the family's izzat and such... stuff that I'd expect from AS and Baapji.

Kaka was always more broadminded and in favor of letting women make decisions for their life... now,because Kalyani's choice is an obstacle and a problem in his plan to adopt Riddhi and bring her home to live with the family,he's conveniently changed his mind and wants to use his role as a father figure in her life to eliminate what he feels as a problem for himself.

He has gone against AS's retrograde mindset before in defense of both Kalyani and Anu,and he would again if he weren't blinded and solely focused on his own desires right now and jealous of Anu and Kalyani's bond.

The Kaka of the old days would have quickly figured out Kalyani was struggling with something big and hiding something,and he knows her well enough to know that she would never hide things for her own gain.

This Sarthak Rane is indeed carbon copy of his elder brother,so I find Malhars reaction justified.

Whoever is the baby's father,Kalyani shouldn't be forced to do something against her will.

I know Kallu is letting everyone believe Rachit violated her which is wrong,but though he didn't do that,he still made her do things against her will via blackmail using her kid's illness.

If the family now forces her to abort against her will when she keeps saying she doesn't want to,aren't they doing something similar?

I don't expect AS,Pallo,Baapji to understand her stance,but Kaka knows her well enough to know there's a reason behind the things she does.

At the end of the day,for me it's easier to sympathize with Kalyani than Kaka who's becoming more and more egotistic everyday due and taking his anger out on Kalyani simply because she's Anu's daughter and main priority.... yet he expects others Anu to be OK with his lies,secrets and the fact that Riddhi is his main priority.

Actually i have seen this thing in a two way dimension .

First I liked the fact that they made him flawed character. He untill 26 th july was a superdad and a hardcore positive . But now they have highlighted his dark side or the flawed side as we know a man can never be a perfect entity. Ìn case of Anu , he is right that she and kalyani has always kept their husband in last in the priority list. And his anger is somewhat justified. But the way he dragged kalyani for forceful abortion was wrong and Malhar sponteneously reacted to it. This show is unique bcoz all the four leads are flawed . Kalma mein vi flaws hai. Kalyani usually lies and hide things and go over board . Malhar had trust issues and Anger issues . His relation had suffered badly with Kalyani when anger and mistrurst over powered him. Anu " s underconfident and non acceptance attitude towards Kaka is not acceptable . This had made him a jittery person .

But if i watch it as a fan" s pov, The makers indeed spoil his character as he had modern and open minded outlook . They also spoil His raabta with Kalma and especially with Malhar. They had a very sweet, strong lovely bond and we have 1000 memories with this trio . This is the reason whyvppl are not being able to take this u turn motion of incident . I hope the makers get the signal that our trp is falling and they must come out of a new fresh descent storyline by uniting this four and healing the broken bond . I hope they wrap up the current track by next week and focus on pillu' s illness, anu" s case , and mostly enhancement of kalma and Anusar bond and the enhancement of the bond of four.
