Titli, I think yeh sab unn so called 'gender roles' ki galati hai. I mean I'm not criticizing Anu's character, but this is being said bcz Anu doesnot want Kallu to get blamed for turning a son against his father. Which even Kalyani does not want, consciously or unconsciously she did similar thing when Malhar said he would talk to his father about the money issue. It's just that today she felt that Baapji crossed a limit and she wanted him to intervene.
It's kinda due to gender roles set by the ancesters. Sometimes it bothers me to see it on screen so vividly, coz common man takes inspiration from these scenes. We are lucky that we know better.
