I think the reason why they wear salwar kameez for their weddings is either because this show is based more on the years before lehngas were worn at wedding occasions. Or their families are very traditional and they perfer to wear salwar kameez. Because in one of the episodes at Poojas wedding Frieda was wearing a fish cut lehnga I believe. But I agree with Cakie and Rani, I hope she wears something different when she marries Yug, like a lehnga 😃

im from a punjabi family too. and what ive realised is, that back home, the lower and most middle class ladies wear shalwar kameez for briadl wear, and those that are well off, wear lenghas, on weddings.

i dont meant to bring in class, and insult anyone,. i am only stating what i have witnessed with my own eyes.

most families that live in villages, like db's family, wear salwar kameez for bridal wear, wereas the richer ones, like families like vA's would wear lenghas.
