I am not a regular viewer so correct me if I am wrong. Isn't there a lady in Balwant's house who is dressed in wedding clothes and is mad. I think she is Balwant's daughter who fell in love with one of VA's sons. Maybe it is Yug's dad or another uncle who is not introduced(I really don't know much about the characters) and while they were going to elope Vrinda's father came and killed Yug's dad. Since this coincided with Vrinda's birth her mom considers her inauspicious. Since one of the parties was already married, it will be very scandolous and that is why no one talks about it and why their families are so hell bent on enemity. I remember in one of the updates it was written that when Yug's Mom and other members meet Vrinda's grandmother, Yug's Mom was the only one who greeted them and it was shown that she does not hold any bad vibes for them. It was never answered why?

Also this storyline gives amole scope for futher plots.

How will Yug and Vrnda react?
