Bhabo wont change

Bhabo has gone throufh many changes in the show. She went from allowing separation in the house to wishing to see it all bonded together... from hating Kanak to loving her to bits... those who have seen DABH will be aware of many more such character developements that have occurred with Bhabo... she used to not allow women in her house to study or work but then she grew so fond and supportive of Sandhya... for example.

But some things it seems will never change. This post is inspired from the precap scene: Bhabo tells Kanak to choose between family and working with Uma's company... she did a very similar thing with Sandhya too, making her promise that her police duty will never be a priority over her household bahu duties... which frankly is ridiculous. Bhabo did realise that eventually, but now she's doing it again.

I dont mean to bash... I do understand where Bhabo's thought is coming from... but I do think that Bhabo has the ability to see things in a clearer light here...

Kanak is doing her best to mai tain a purely professional relationship. If she backs out due to the fact that Uma is her ex husband then it will be showing Meera and Uma that she still cares and is still weak... when she wants to present herself as strong.

Bhabo wants Kanak not to be hurt, but by tbretening to abandon her even further, when she is already on the inside feeling somewhat alone, how is this going to make Kanaks days happier? Thinking from a Gra dmas point of view... telling Kanak to choose between family and professional reputation when nlthing too grave is even the matter- Kanak is handling it all pretty well- seems unfair to me. Bhabo tells her to remember that voh beti hai kiski but what about now... Bhabo told Kanak to go with Uma after he forcibly married her and wanted to keep her under him: this is still oy a bussiness deal where both are fully independemt...

Just my pov... would be interested to know what you think of Bhabos decision.

Also, I must mention how Bhabo used to blame and punish Kanak for the death of Sooraj and Sandhya, and even still she has not grown out of that mindset. Again, she is punishing Saras for what Uma did... Bhabo makes a hasty decision about something once and sets it in stone... becomes unmoving despite all the logics we may apply...
