It was in the darkness that we craved the light the most,
Caught up in what we feel we must have, its the beauty within which we become engrossed,
But we often forget that to gain light, it is darkness we need,
But without a cut, it is impossible to bleed,
To bleed is to know we exist,
From the first time we kissed,
I knew it was love, that I loved you with all my heart,
And I wouldnt survive if we were ever apart
Your eyes, deep pools of chocolate, melting softly, slowly,
Arms that offer me warmth and ensure I will never be lonely,
Making me aware of what it means when its said that the eyes are the window to the soul,
Like a thief in the night, I never felt regret when my heart was what you stole
The purest scent of sandalwood was what initially caught my eye,
Making us meet like the storm colouring the bluest sky,
I was yours from the first touch,
But for you, that was too much
Because I had saw Shiv Ji's sign,
Adding fuel to the fire, I had to claim you as mine
You said I was crazy and maybe thats true,
Because in that moment I knew, I would never love anyone as much as I loved you
Hello to all who read this, I wrote this as an apology for my rubbish updates, it just seemed to be a case of everything coming at once, as they say life doesnt stop for anyone and I got very busy, very quickly.
Anyway I hope you like it, its not great I know, it was my first shot at something like this but I hope it makes up for all the updates you haven't been getting!
