Kanak had fallen asleep, Uma had decorated their balcony just in time for her to wake up from her nap

As he woke her up gently, she sat up as he cradled her closer into his arms
Standing her up he spun her around, twirling her he watched as she dipped into his arms

"If I knew this would be our first dance I would have dressed up"
She looked down awkwardly at her clothes, swaying in his arms he dipped her again

"You look beautiful in everything you wear"
Her smile was soft, but therefore all the more enticing
His head dipped low, letting out a groan he closed his eyes

"If I kiss you, I wont stop"
Backing up against the wall she tugged him back with her "I wouldnt want you to"

As she placed her lips on his, it was an explosion
He had been starved of something so beautiful, that he would never get enough of how her lips felt against his, she was close but not close enough, the room spun around them and the dizziness was both exhilarating and electric

His breaths were in gasps as he looked at her plump lips as she smiled again "Marry me"
Standing on her tiptoes she pressed a kiss to his lips, a deal sealed with a kiss

But he wasnt going to let her get away with such torture as he pushed himself closer to her and allowed her to drive him to insanity once again.

Kanak stood on the soft blankets atop the balcony
Looking up at the stars her eyes sparkled with unshed tears

She was happy, really happy to finally have a family and a home again.
She didnt feel like an orphan anymore.

Furrowing her eyebrows she looked down at the letter on the grass below her
As she ducked her head down, Palomi raised the vase from behind her smashing it down on her head

Grasping her head she turned around and backed into the corner as tears rolled down her cheeks
"You tried to steal my love from me and you will pay"

Shoving her over the railing Kanak landed on the floor, she allowed her eyes to close for a moment as she tried to sit up, she looked at her foot facing the wrong way and wanted to be sick

Not like this, she couldn't leave him like this, she hadnt told him how she felt
This wouldn't be the end, she refused

Uma stepped onto the balcony as he looked at the blood on the floor, where was Kanak?

Kanak managed to pull herself up with the use of the tree
Uma's eyes widened as he jumped over the railing and ran to the falling body

Grasping her head he held her close "I wont let you leave me like this Kanak"

As the rain poured down, drenching the couple in the rain, it felt like heaven was crying to.
It wasn't Kanak's time.

The doctors words, a distinct echo in his head "She may never walk again, her spine cracked"

Tipping the desk over he screamed as he dropped to his knees
"She has seen the darkness, why cant you allow her to live in peace"

His fist punched the wall as a voice called out to him, the only voice that could soothe his demoms right now

"Palomi, she , she"
Her breath came out in gasps, her eyes wandered every corner of the room looking for the enemy, her lip trembled as Uma ran his thumb over it

"Shes gone now, im so sorry I couldn't save you then but youre safe now"
Like a damn had broke, Kanak allowed herself to cry

"I thought I wouldnt get to tell you"
"Tell me what "
Kanak shook her head "You wont want to hear it, you wont want me anymore if I cant walk"
Her voice broke as she turned her head away

"Please tell me Kanak, I will always want you, no matter what may change, even when your hair is grey and your skin is wrinkled, when you fight with me, even if you break my heart because youre the only person who can, if you cant walk, then I will walk for you, ill take you anywhere just stay, with me"
Kanak grasped his hand, her eyes puffy and red

"You mean that"
Uma stroked her cheek as she leant into his hand "Always, now what did you need to tell me"

Her eyes burnt with a longing as she looked into his "I love you"
Uma couldn't explain how his life was always missing something, a puzzle with a missing piece, him without her.

Now he had it, and he wouldnt let it go " Kanak I love you to"
