Part - 21

Uma holdings the baby in his hands, his eyes filled with joy and pain. Kanak takes the baby from uma's hand, she carefully wraps the baby in the towel. She goes near to gayathri.

Kanak: see, gayathri,

Gayathri who lays on pain, tries to look at the baby, she gives pressure to her hand, and tries to get up. Kanak stops her and shows the baby to her.

Gayathri who was all in sweat and pain, gave a smile to her baby.

Kanak says to the baby,

Kanak: look at ur mother, say hi to her.

Uma looks at them. And goes near to shivji, he kneels and looks at the blood in his hand.

Uma: what should i do?

Uma cries, the wind passes by him. Uma closes his eye.

Something was happened. Uma opens his eye, he saw a flower on his hand, he was frozen, he stares, then again a flower dropped from shivji's idol. Uma looks at shivji's idol, and closes hand and hugs himself.

A voice came outside from the cave, a man came inside the cave.

Gayathri turns and smiles.

Gayathri: my husband is back.

The man comes, and he saw his wife and walks then his steps were faster and faster, and came near to gayathri.

He hugs her, he saw a baby in kanak's hand, then he looks at gayathri, she nods her head, he smiles and hugs her. He goes near to the baby, and his hand shivers, he looks at baby, the baby yawns beautifully. He closes his mouth and cries.

Kanak gives the baby to him. His fears showed in his eye and then kanak carefully handed the baby to him.

Gayathri holds kanak's hand. Kanak looks at gayathri.

Gayathri : this is my husband sivaram.

Kanak nods her head. Sivaram also nods his head.

Gayathri: she is kanak, and her husband is uma shankar, and they only saved us.

Gayathri narrates everything and sivaram joins his hand and thanked her, uma comes there. Looks at sivaram.

Sivaram joins his hands and thanked him. Sivaram falls and touchs uma's feet, and uma lifts him and hugs him.

Sivaram: thank u so much. U both have given a new life to us.

Gayathri joins her hand, if u didn't come, what would happen. Kanak stops her.

Kanak: pls.

Kanak looks at uma, he gave her smile. Sivaram and gayathri holds the baby, and share their love. Uma comes to kanak and holds her hand. Kanak looks at him and places her head on his shoulder and looks at sivaram's family. Uma looks only at kanak.

Hey geethu!! I enjoyed this entire series. Actually this is one of my favourite in forum. though I liked it i was breaking my head about the title where is the female patient I thought Uma will make Kanak pregnant 😉 and will give treatment 😉 but the treaking experience and the couple.. all are nice thank you :)

Thanks for the appreciation.

The female patient- uma respects women but he never thought of attending female patient, so i want him to change his idea, and my another focus is uma and kanak relationship.

Their relationship should grow by, step by step. Like taking baby steps.

Part - 22

Uma and kanak were in the river. Uma sitting in the banks of the river. He is fully wet, and kanak was in middle of the river, she wash up.

Uma looks at kanak, in his mind, many things are going here and there. He feels something on his pocket, when he takes it out. It was the flowers which he got from shivji's idol. He looks at flowers, he recalled every things that had happened with in this past three, four days.

Kanak comes to the river banks and sits near to uma. And looks at him. Kanak knows that what he is thinking, she gave him the place, that he needs, so she stay quiet. Both of them sits silencely. It goes on for an hour.

After the long silence, uma looks at kanak,

Uma: kanak...

Kanak: hmmm..

Uma: was it me?

Kanak looks at uma, and cups his face.

Kanak: yes, ur...

Uma: i accept everything, why i meet u, and i got all my answers.

Kanak smiles at him,

Yes, i also.

Uma: treated the female patient...

Kanak: mmm

Uma: i saved two lives.

Kanak : yes.

Uma: tell me kanak

Kanak hugs him, and says u have done well. u have taken a big step in ur life.

Uma lays his head on kanak's lap, and thinks, yes, i have taken a big step in my life, my destiny was u. My shivji send u to me. Because ur my sunlight who vanished my darkness. In my 30 years of life time, i led my life but i was blind in my thoughts.

I never raised any qiestion before but after i acknowledge ur presence, my mind filled with lots and lots of question, today i got all my answer.

Kanak combs his hair.

Uma: thank u kanak, for coming into my life.

Kanak smiles

Uma: i love u. I love kanak.

Uma turns his face, and burried his face in kanak's stomach and hugs her tightly. Her chandan ki mehek still makes him crazy.

Uma and kanak were still in the river bank. Uma rest himself in kanak's lap.
