Hi am silent reader. I want to ask some questions to Uma'so supporters.
If u think Uma is not backward and he is doing right things then

1. Why r u watching Television serial? According to him it's an addiction right

2. Why r u using mobile, Internet etc ? These r all addiction.

3. Do u really believe that women should be dasi of her husband after marriage?

4. Do u really believe that women have no rights to take her own decision.

5. Is it necessary to follow ur husband rules blindly?

Just want to know ur opinions

We all like Uma as he doesn't preaches others but follows it strictly

We all want Uma to change it's perspective and enjoy his life rather than living with time table

No one agrees his perspective on wife and strongly opposing his persistence towards Kanak and not giving her time and space

It's tough to live like Uma in this era

First of all, it's nice to see silent members coming out into the open and becoming active on the forum...so thanks for this post 🤗

To answer your questions...

I am not an Uma supporter...but even those here that are...acknowledge that he does have flaws...for that matter, so does Kanak.

Objectively speaking...fandom doesn't necessarily mean people change their lives according to the person that is admired.
Yes...Uma's thinking is dominated by his religious beliefs...but not everything he says or does is bad...and I think everyone on this forum...supporter or not... is looking forward to him becoming more open minded.

And we are all looking forward to how Uma and Kanak actually become soulmates. 😛

I don't watch a serial to learn and practice on my life...for that I have other options...
I just watch as timepass or some fairy tale experience... I do not expect everybody in the world should have same belief and should act as same...

I liked the story and the leads chemistry and want to see how Kanak change s uma's life ...so watching this :-)

In reality I think no one wants to support and marry a guy like Uma. Besides his sweet talks, his looks and charm it is difficult to live with him where you have to follow his rules and if broken get punished. A sensible girl would give some time to see if he changes his views on things and if not divorce this idiot and move on.
One thing good about this marriage is that there's no domestic violence. But him being religious doesn't mean he's a bad person. There's good and bad in his views and how he portrays them for example his religion has taught him to have sabr. Any guy who has a beautiful wife would want to have the physical relationship as soon as possible but for Uma though there's a beautiful girl next to him in the bed he doesn't think about the physical side of the relationship as he promised her. Lectures on phones television I thought he is right but that doesn't mean you can't own a phone. lectures on excess food is true, he does yoga looking after his health etc.
But then they also show the bad side of the religion like the drinking water from husband's feet part but they did show that he didn't force her to drink and said it's up her but according to dharam that's what it should be done. And the makers showed what a normal girl would do and refuse to drink that.and later he didn't argue or have grudges against her.

So overall I feel it's such a good story where they are showing that people like Uma still exists and how it is good and bad and how with certain events in life he will come to realise. Starting point is tea addiction coming up where he will realise drinking tea is not so bad and there's more stories will crop up where they might in danger and Uma realises if he owned a mobile phone he could've contacted his family member or something. So i feel they will definitely show the changes and I am looking forward to seeing how that at the beginning an imperfect couple becomes the perfect couple and go beyond being soulmates.

In the meantime there's nothing wrong in wanting to see your favourite couple's onscreen romance and look forward to it daily. Even if it means that after a hectic day at work, stressful student life or a housewife, and look forward to sit down and just mesmerise this romance. even if it's fictional. I loved Disneys prince and princess stories but in reality we all know there's no perfect Prince Charming out there... well I suppose if ur lucky you may actually find one.

Coming out of the character I just want to enjoy Avi-Rhea's outstanding performances also and their hard work just to entertain us.

So for me so far TSMP has been entertaining and a treat to watch. thanking the makers for their unusual love story. After a long time enjoying daily soaps on another level.

Hi, I am Diya. First of all thanks for replying 😊. Actually I don't want to say that Uma supporter should change their life according to him. I just want to know what people think about Uma. Yes u r right like Uma , Kanak has some flaws. She did many mistakes in past. Both characters needs to make some changes in their behaviour to become perfect soul mate for each other.

Uma is definitely not a bad a husband and before before he got married to kanak he was nice human being. I think certain events of his life, his dad's death, his mum illness with no elders in the house, he had to emotionally and mentally cope with all of this and that's why he turned to god to find peace and help him cope to look after his family. This is also what the serial may be trying to show show that not everyone is the way they are. Certain painful things in life changes a person. And when he did turn to God he maybe started reading old ancient times stories how things were and the more he read the more influenced he got and now he is set in his own ways and believes his dharam in detail. I may be wrong but that could be one possible reasons of his life. Otherwise look at Uma he's very charitable, getting for those couples married at the beginning shows that. So yeah this serial will have good messages why things happens and how it will resolve for a good change. For me uma's calm way of explaining things is what I would want In a husband, no anger and no shouting as these days little things in life pisses us off and we get angry and shout to explain things. So yeah there are some positive sides to this story. Not dissing other shows but I haven't see anything like this.

Plus I think they should show how the usual calm Uma took that step to carry kanak and marry her. Little bit of fairy tale won't harm. Maybe even a religious person at that 1 second of life saw kanak and thought wow how gorgeous is she I have to marry her and when she kept saying no he thought of losing her so in his madhosh avatar just grabbed her. 😆 😆 and tell kanak later it was love at first sight
