what if bhabhoo arranged kanaks marriage with uma to get her out of house and kanak to please bhabhoo accepted to marry..would she still think uma and her are poles apart and should separate?..would she adjust with umas lifestyle..?
because it was shown in the soap that.bhabhoo arranged her marriage with an nri and kanak accepted it for bhabhoos happiness..what if that guy was uma..with the same characteristics as now..
i have been wondering this for sometime..kanak said they can.never be together because they were so different..then what was she expecting when she said yes to the alliance that bhabhoo brought..even if she stay with the marriage for bhabhoos happiness would she be able.to accept uma with full heart?..
any views guys?..

Uma lifestyle is the bigger issue for Kansk

No freedom for women and so much restrictions

Even for Sandhya, Rathi's family's was so different and difficult

She too had some much restrictions but her support system is too good

For Kanak to accept the marriage won't be easily..

I was also thinking the same what if it was not forced marriage

In that case - I would say she should try to adjust a bit and tell them - how she has been living...so will not change completely - will try to adjust as much as she can...
Like... if I have to wake up 4 am or food schedule , it is tough - not impossible. She can get accustom to it after a while.

She should NOT adjust vrat...dharma./ drinking feet water, not going out alone...etc
Sandhya had challenges, too (which prepared her physically for her career indirectly...) - she had Suraj...to be with her...

And Rathi's did not ask her to drink feet water or ban outing... or suraj never thought to burn her alive... or punish her...he helped her to adjust... helped her and Emily .. to continue their study...

For Kanak, the bigger problem comes from the forced marriage

--> Even when she has good thoughts of Uma and feels sympathetic for him...she stops herself and reminds herself this was a forced marriage.

I feel like if Bhabho had asked her to marry Uma at first before all this happened then she would said yes, she wouldn't be happy, but she would do it for Bhabho's happiness.

Would K be happy? no (either with Uma or that other one, but more so Uma cos he's very backward) and neither would she accept it with her full heart, maybe with time she would.

With Uma, she would be still questioning his beliefs at every step of the way. Thats just how she is as a person but she wouldn't be against falling for him either.

The whole world accepts that vedas and Ayurvedic medicine are the most advanced and west is still trying to understand it.Whether it is transcendental meditation or mindful meditation or yoga you name it.Quantum physicians recently came with findings that Ayurvedic physicians found thousands of years ago. There is universal energy(Brahman again not Brahmin don't get confused)from which five elements (panchabhutha)came and that endless unmanifest energy expressed itself in three kinds of matter(dosham described in Ayurvedic medicine).I am a modern medicine practitioner trying to integrate this fascinating medicine as west is going crazy and admiring us .But Ofcourse we decide the same portrayal of a man is backward lol.For sure this show I have to say is successful in showing what should be a supposedly advanced man as backwards.

Waking early morning is brahma muhurthum is a time when the mind is most likely to grasp and understand things faster because of cosmic and human connections are at peak during that To and ofcourse cell phones, electricity etc all those modern science already came out with lot of studies that they are harmful. The place where we live street lights and banned because they cause light pollution. So what modern scientists are doing is rediscovering what we followed for thousands of years and ofcourse when white people say it's worthy for us but if our elders say it's blind belief so on and so forth

what u r saying is true..but if we teach our child like this then it would.be easier for them to practise..but when a women who has lived around 20 years in a particular environment it becomes difficult to adjust...but not impossible..that is also true..but things like going out alone not allowed are indeed handicapping women..what if an emergency comes and she has no man to support her..before women she is a human..mobile phones are bad undersrandable..but when a 20 year.women who was fully indulged it.modern lifestyle and suddenly reatricted to anything she uses to connect with..is that right?..it is a healthy lifestyle that uma is following..but when the women has to suddenly follow it...and about isolation during periods..older generations used to do it because women needed rest at that time of the month itherwise they have hectic work at house..nowadays people needs less effort for all the work..and isolating a women makes them feel outcaste..they atleast need the freedom to move around the house..and eat with family..i dnt find any.reason good.enough to restrict them from daily life...then comes women going to work..no women in umas house is working lady..so its expected kanak.too wont be..what if some.major.calamity occurs and she has to fend for herself..all new things are not.bad..and all.old things are not good...some..i am not saying all..but some might even get depressed in such situation and might get suicidal ir something...i think it all comes down to.how.family.members treat the bride..if they are very supportive and give some time to adjust then with time she will be ok...

In my opinion, it couldn't be.
He would look like an alien between Rathis. Somebody would oppose until the end, maybe her brothers.

Bhabho picked a modern guy for her modern grandchild. Not Uma - whose austere lifestyle would be difficult for Kanak to adjust to. Kanak was trying to listen to her brothers and get herself adjusted to Mayank n family. Ved/Vansh and her had a discussion about accepting the rishta for Bhabho and having to nibhao the rishta. With Uma - he is not Bhabho's choice, he is not on the surface compatible with her soch. Plus there is the forced aspect.

How I wish I have that three days of rest during cycle system back for the modern working woman it's endless work with no breaks and three days rest would be a blessing..Women during their cycles are very weak with loss of blood some with very excsessive loss and because of hormone changes their mind is going through ups and downs and their mood gets unpredictable and some women sometimes even get severe cramps and migraines during that time.It is like the negative energy that is happening in our body sometimes is at a peak during that time.So our elders advised rest for us for those three days both for physical and mental well being. But Ofcourse what does west do again trash it with no real understanding ,make women pop bunch of pills and we follow them as usual blindly.
