Hi, Guys!

One of ours favorite characters, Uma, is at least a weird person for nowadays, as can be seen from the discussions in one of the last topics. Till we'll know him better by cvs' willingness, let's presume about his past: relatives, studies, upbringing, significant occurrences, everything that could create such a controversial personality.

Obviously It's about the story, about what we think the producers will show us.

I think Uma has a high level degree in his studies. Maybe even an MBBS/MD and then extra studying for an Ayurvedic medicine. He was quite aware of the bhabasa' medical tests and could even interpret the reports as well since he asked them from bhabo

Yeah that is possible... he is quite educated, even understands English. Just not the slangs

I guess when we will find out more about Uma's father we will better understand his rigid behavior.

I have never doubt about his high education, but I wonder where did it happen, he seems hasn't been in touch with modern society and young people mentality ( he must have completed his stuidies just few years ago, not in Ladno ).

In Uma's ayurvedic clinic, there were English books in the shelves...means he is not only know english he is very well highly educated...even in earlier episode Shiv tried to tell Kanak that Uma even cured cancer. Even in Saturday 's episode, he checked babasa's CAT scan (brain x ray). It means he is highly educated.

Exactly...he does have English books in his library.

There were also photographs...you know like class photos.

He was also able to review Bhabasa's past medical records.

Like someone else said...he may not be hip to the latest slang but he knows medicine.

When he's a child, his father teached him everything alone until he graduated high school, such as home school, like he does to Shiv maybe ...

In college he rarely hangouts with friends, read many books in library & does some charity activities in his free time ...

He is highly educated , that I am absolutely sure off but I think he had dreams of service to mankind in a different way ,so once they become closer kanak will discover his dream and ambition , will then encourage him to pursue it while she holds the home front. He understands English but chooses to shun the modern way of life that could be thru his fathers and aditiyas disappearance . I think becoming a ved was his way off finding a bit of peace and satisfaction within himself after abandoning his dreams to take on the families responsibility.
