I understand the difference in the punishment , Payal was wrong by not confessing and knowingly breaking the house rule all the while lecturing Kanak in the reasons for not eating
Certain foods.
I totally disagree with punishment for breaking rules one don't know exist.
I am totally horrified at their expectations that girls who were raised eating onion n garlic from
Childhood must just give it up and adapt withiin a day if entering their home especially girls who
Never wanted to be part of this mad hatter family.
If anybody needs their tongue controlled its massisa, firstly eating no onion and garlic has given
her a tongue sharper than a sword, why can't she feel for Payals lonely life , how can she as a woman curse another woman to a colourless existence ? She herself has no husband darkening the galls off the havelli while she plays substitute to her sister role in that house doesn't she feel
The pain of being in a shell .
As for her words off Uma only accepting Kanak not the family , where was she when her Gangsa jiggi rung the bell on blessing this union, and when Sara's n payal without looking to her, accepted and welcomed kanak by going her aarti. Is she blind to shivs continued support and
encouragement of Kanak.
The only person who hasn't truly accepted kanak as Umas wife is Palomi but she has her own agenda. Palomi does not count as she is to me on the same importance level as gabbisa ,so her opinion really doesn't matter. Whether massia admits it or not even she has accepted kanak because she calks her daughter in law n umas wife and expects her to follow the house rules one won't expect strangers or non family members to adhere to their practices. Anyway in that house according to Massisa , Umas word and acceptance is final for the family so why now say sumthing different in umas absence.

Guys, as far as I could understand, massive realised that Payal had consumed onions the moment she day next to massi to pick up food for cow. She had thought that after eating mint leaves, she will not get caught. That was the reason massi asked everyone to own up their mistake but Payal was confident and didn't accept her mistake instead allowed Kanak to go ahead and when she was punished, she had the nerve to preach why onions are consider as inauspicious. How they cause hormonal variation etc
Massi was not even aware of Kanak eating onion but she thought Kanak accepted it to save Payal.
Kanak was given lighter punishment because she was ignorant about the rule but payal was aware of it ans still hid that by putting Kanak ahead.

Blue - Hope you are busy and have not given up on the DharmicPati and AdharmiPatni.

The way Payal n Kanak connected was unique - one victim to another - dard ka rishta
