I am finding that Avi's performance is very, very, very inconsistent. There is only so far one looks can help a person and Avi looks really good as Uma 80% of the time but if I had to mark his acting I would give him a 69%.
I think whoever has followed him in the past we know he is most comfortable playing a bad guy, he is really good as that. for me the scene where he looked like the actor I know he is and can be is the scene when Kanak hallucinated about him trying to harm her family. he looked exceptionally comfortable in that scene and I really liked that scene.

my problem with his acting is that I feel he goes blank when he has to be the nice smiley guy. it would very easy to just fade into the background when he does that. I am not sure if he has a proper understanding of his character. as an audience I feel this character has such beautiful thoughts, he is a nice guy and then this split where he is just such a chauvinistic pig.

for me though todays episode was really nice i felt a condition these 2 sides of his personality because his character was given a proper chance to be very clear as to what his views where.

but my problem is if he is not giving the chance to shine he will fade into the background coz his acting is shady.

also Avinesh has always had a great body but with him preparing for this role his looks have changed abit its more pronounced especially with those beady black devil eyes.

for me he really, really, really needs to watch himself on screen and watch his facial expressions and the fact that the eye color does change his looks.

Well i believe that no matter how good an actor is, there is always scope for an actor to grow, acting skills polished... there is no point of perfection, its an ongoing learning process..

As for the inconsistency- - its more like the character is inconsistent, one minute he is lovey dovey, next an interrogator and then the examiner... its the different shades of his character that brings inconsistentency.

By stereotyping him in bad guy roles, you yourself dont give him scope to grow... because its this thing from the past which haunts the present charcter of Avinesh... i have seen him do amazing roles, this guy knows how to put in hard work n to grow..

In the mirror scenes he had a fabulous screen presence, even the song sequence showed a ligter side of US and avinesh did a fabulous job...

But is is just my opinion on how i interpret Avinesh's acting... but anyways he needs to put in more and learn...and keep up the commendable job. #peace.

If I watch an actor more then once I like to analyze how they have developed as an actor, I like actors who show me they are flawless even when they are making mistakes. and this is the case here with Avinesh. otherwise no matter how good he looks on screen i would not watch him if he was an awful actor. he is a very good actor and so i know that he will get better and he has shown a lot of potential as Uma. but he is brilliant in certain parts and then i get the blank face and I dnt like that. and i really think he needs to either put more expression in his character and tighten up his expressions as well. and he needs to go and watch himself on screen his new eyes have changed how he comes across.
I also dont believe to much in perfection as I always want an actor to say after a no. of years that if they go back to 1 of their characters they can do it 10 times better.

and no i was not stereotyping him in any role my whole point was that his previous roles he easily fitted into those roles and there was a level of excellence there that I am not seeing at the moment with him as Uma. and I have always wanted to see him in a proper good guy role and I do not really think Uma is ones typical good guy hero.

If i recall when he did madhubala i think i read somewhere that he should go onto that forum and read some of the posts there. So i am hoping he comes here to and sees my posts.

but we do agree he does need to improve 😉

I am no blind follower of any actor. AR did a gray shaded good guy in a serial where the wife is dead/killed. I can't remember the name of the serial, but think it was his debut serial. After that he played Sultan in Madhubala. He did a decent job in both serials.

I wish they would remove the black lens as it is unnatural looking and I don't see what value it add to the character of US?! Otherwise while there is always scope for improvement he is doing a good job of portraying the range of emotion/thought that makes up the character of US. The thing we have to accept is that US is not Suraj. Suraj was born good and died good. US is his own man. Educated, Eloquent, Focused, Forceful and a man infatuated with the woman that Shivji indicated was the "One". AR has demonstrated this range particularly in the last few episodes.

I watched most of Avinesh serials. He has amazing screen presence. I am no fan of a particular actor, its just the characters they play. I liked him as Kabir in his debut and as Sultan too in Madhubala. He is doing a great job here too.

He is lot better than the first scene he acted in. He will get better, more mature and will get into the character as he plays along. His character is written with such a shade where he is contradicting with himself. So i think its coming along well, if what i read from the posts here.

I personally think, whenever he is on screen, the episode looks interesting, that in itself is a great credit.
