Yes that's when the whole track starts. How do each of them adapt to each other's life.

Exactly. The day he realizes that he started on the wrong foot. And really really hope kanak doesn't let him off easy.

poor Kanak just got woke upto a nightmare

I'm curious to see how they'll take this forward.

He is a man determined and possessed. He has never seen or heard about refusal.
It is this clash of reasoning and personalities is what raises the curiosity bar.
They have been giving Shiv Parvati story again n again. That Shivji was dharm k pake wheresas Parvati jee was innocent and had come from a palace, a princess maybe. How they fell in love and lived and adapted is what CVs might be trying to adapt.

It was not right on Uma's part to do what he did today and what he will do tomorrow. He has every right to believe in destiny, and God. He has every right to believe that she is the girl for him and he is her soulmate. He has every right to ask her to marry him, and thats it. Thats where it should've stopped, specially when she told him clearly that she doesn't believe in it and she cannot marry someone just like that. How hard is it for him to understand? Wouldn't the next year's Shivratri day as auspicious as the current one? Does he think that if he lets her go now, she will never come back? You my dear, have an amazing point. It's actually spot on.

Uma Shankar might believe that she is the ONE - yes and that raises the question why wasn't some other day as auspicious as this. He just kick started a conundrum which will affect everyone's life.

He might be righteous and whatever. But forcing a girl into marriage is a big no no.
A Godly man shouldn't be egotistic. He was the one to support her, not force her.

I am really curious how content he looked in the precap. Does he feel that now he owns her and she would be returned to him found wherever.

@Red: Well i wouldnt call him egoistic yet, he might be, but didn't see that yet, so will wait that to be shown. He seems to believe in god way more than normal people or to be precise he actually believes in God truly, so for him he is right because God can't be wrong.

@Bold : Ya that look was telling. He was like "where the hell will you go now? you are bound to me forever" and thats exactly what i have issue with. He shouldnt have done that, hopefully they will show a proper reason for his madness. From what they showed last week, when payal's parents refused after saying "yes" for the alliance, he cited that they were the one's that came for the alliance, said "yes" and now are saying "no" which is against dharm.

So similarly he thinks Kanak said "yes" for the marriage and is saying "no" now? Thats a long shot reason, but she clearly mentioned she misunderstood, so cant see why he had to force her into it. He is the same guy who didnt go after her, even when she sent him a letter with her number in there. Its weird that he resorted to force as if no other day is good for marriage. Why couldnt he think that she might be married? she might be engaged? she might be in some other relationship? that she has a family who have their opinions? I mean will he agree to such an alliance for his sister? If his sister goes on a vacation and their someone forces marriage upon her, will he agree to it? Well in that case shouldn't he consult Kanak's family too?

Anyways, thats why i say its a blunder on his part. He is not this type of guy to force someone into a shaadi. But he seems so cold and unmoved by the whole fiasco, and his look in the precap was cold as ice. This guy didnt know what he married into 😆, he will have an uphill task to first please Kanak and then Kanak's crazy love, Bhabho 😆 Well that might be God's way of justice 😛

I Agree. The Way They Got Married Is Very Wrong. Poor Kanak. I Feel Bad For Her.

Shankar Just Forced Her To Get Married...
Didn't That.

I love how this discussion is shaping up.

Coming to egotistical part - isn't refusing to take a rejection and pressuring a person a little bit egotistical. It is his faith and he is imposing that faith on her. He thinks he know it all as he got the signals. He just choose her and it's done. Only his choice matters because he got the signals. His wifi is 5g with God.

As for yes no yes no confusion. It's absolute long shot. You grab a girl and say you are the one. Get hitched. Not even giving a freaking thought about her family her background. Her relationship n marriage is a mile away he didn't consider her approval or disapproval. Just picked her up and got married.

I love your 'what he has married into'. It actually serves him right. He should be the one to clear up everything.

Kuch bhi in the name of creative liberty.

😆😆 creative liberty.

I was absolutely aghast at the way he got married to her. This is the first episode i didn't rewatch Uma's scene again 😡. Well i guess they had to get married for the story to move forward so it has turned out into a nightmare of sorts for us. Anyways now that the deed is done, lets all dust that and move ahead and hope he doesnt start imposing himself and his stupid ideas on her in the name of shaadi.
