oh.......lol.........many many many ppl knew and currently know shabd bhedi vidhya.........

1. Dasarath (Ram's Father)
2. Pandu
3. Karna
4. Arjun
5. Ram
6. Lakshman
7. Bhishma
8. All of the god warriors (Indra, Sun God, Shiva, Vishnu)
9. Parshuram
10. Brahispati, Valmiki
11. Luv and Kush (Ram's children)
12. Meghnad (Ravan's son)
13. Some demon who was Prahlad's friend........forgot his name...he was blind though
14. I'm sure there are many more.......

These people were like the best archers of their time.......they ALL knew shabd bhedi.......

Most of us only know abt a few ppl who knew the art.......because those stories have always been mentioned....

It's because those ppl either got in serious trouble due to this vidhya (e.g., Dasarath, Pandu, Karna) or their shabd bhedi played a huge significance in their life and helped them achieve something (PRC)

As islandboy has mentioned, many knew shabd bhedi baan. Dashrath is mentioned in Ramayan. The mythological stories of Hinduism are contained in Ramayan, Mahabharat and various Puranas. According to them, shabd bhedi baan was something very common for many warriors at that time. In fact, their skill was far better.

i agree with akhl.....

Shabd bhedi was VERY COMMON in historical times.......and is still common amongst gods..........

However, it was sort of a lost art (on earth) in PRC's time........PRC was one of the only ppl who knew it.....well.....one of the only Kings..........

The others were the Bhils.......who were basically secluded and couldn't use this vidhya to help benefit the world...

As i said before......we only know abt the ppl who's shabd bhedi vidya plays a significance in their lives...in terms of gain or loss...

no these people were good at archery but they did not know shabd bedi baan vidya..
1) dasharath :yes he knew.. n that led him to trouble with shravan's parents
2. Pandu : no he did not know.. he saw some movements behind bush n thought it is a deer.
3. Karna : nowhere in mahabharat it is given that he knew it.
4. Arjun : same as karna
5. Ram : its not htere in ramayan that he knew
6. Lakshman : its not htere in ramayan that he knew
7. Bhishma : its not given in mahabharatha that he knew
8. All of the god warriors (Indra, Sun God, Shiva, Vishnu) : none of the puranas have given this
9. Parshuram : same.. none of puranas have given this
10. Brahispati, Valmiki : again not given anywhere
11. Luv and Kush (Ram's children): not given anywhere
12. Meghnad (Ravan's son) :again not given anywhere
13. Some demon who was Prahlad's friend........forgot his name...he was blind though :again not given anywhere
14. I'm sure there are many more.......

the people whom u have listed were good warriors.. but the does not mean they knew shabd bedi baan vidya... as i said.. none of our puran , vedas, upanishads orany other book tell this...
the only people who knew were
dasharat : given in ramayan .. n he used it which by mistake killed shravan
eklavya : given in mahabharat.. n eklavya used this to stop a dog from barking.. he listened to the sound of the bark n filled the dog's mouth with arrows.
prithvi : given in prithviraj raso... n he used it to kill ghori.

so these r the only people who knew.it.. if u r saying others knew it.. pls tell the book in which it is written

Rama displayed his knowledge of shabd bhedi baan.
5. Ram : its not htere in ramayan that he knew
It is written in Baal kand of Valmiki Ramayan that Tataka became invisible using her illusory power. But she was making noise. Then, Ram used his knowledge of shabd bhedi baan and shot at her.
