At Goenka mansion, Roohi is being decked up by her family elders , Her face exhibits none of the excitement of a bride to be , she shows no interest in the beautiful jewellery being put on her to make her look pretty. Family members try to cheer her up . Swarna is worried for her, Bade papa gets emotional that their great grand daughter is leaving and he shares his happiness over their good fortune on being able to marry off their great grand daughter . At Poddar villa Rohit is being dressed up with fine new clothes and other accessories by the family members ,and they bless him for his beginning new life . Rohit remembers Roohi and misses her n looks forwards to marrying her . Daadi blesses him but he misses his Bhaiya . Daadi asks him to let go of his brother’s hand n be independent now . Armaan had said he will return as soon as possible . Rohit is hesitant . soon the Poddar family gets ready to leave for the wedding venue , they have fun and masti , song n dance. Rohit calls Armaan , he misses him as he alights the horse n moves with baraat. Armaan tells him that he was caught up in life n death situation of his client , he expresses inability to leave n rush back . Armaan remembers his hurtful moments as he broke off with Roohi .
At Mussoorie Abhira is sitting by Aks’s bedside n tries to reassure her . Aks seems to deteriorate , abhira alerts the doctors and they swing into action. Abhira and Armaan are scared . All are shocked as Doc states she was having very poor prognosis . They had failed to revive ehr . As Kas is dying she tells Abhira that she was leaving her to Atmaan’s care . She hands Armaan the responsibility of Abhira as she was young n naive . She seeks promise from Armaan and he readily gives her . She asks him to promise he would save AbhiRa’s life from Yuvraj n marry her n keeo her safe , she places Abhira’s hand into his n pleads him. He gets shocked so does Abhira . This was the only way tk save Abhira from Yuvraj this was her last dying wish. She would never want her tk be all alone struggling to resists Yuvraj. Abhira denies Arman’s protection . She refuses to marry Armaan . Armaan also remembers how he loved Roohi and his word tk her that none will take her place in his life , Armaan is hesitant . Aks states that she k ew she was asking for a huge thing , but asks him to make up his mind now . She seeks peace n rest after life,
Armaan assures he will keep her safe, he will always be there for ehr n assures Abhira will become a successful lawyer , but marriage was a huge commitment n he was not sure he was right for Abhira , abhira too agrees Armaan was not the right for her .
Aks then asks him to guarantee that society will not shame their friendship . She suggests he will give respectable name to their relationship. Hence it was essential to marry the girl . Society should not question them ‘yeh rishtaa kya kehlata hai. “
