All guys I know ran to the theatres for the action not RK specifically. Guys love gruesome movies 

Loved the action and violence in the movie, but only RK could pull this off 

Ranbir was perfect for the movie, Bobby was perfect for the movie and Venga is a brilliant director, who can make marathon movies with gripping screenplay. It was a combination of different factors. Just like Kabir Singh 

You can hate Venga all you want for your supposed glorification of misogyny, but truth is he is an excellent director who knows how to make movies
