Not true. The love for Sunny is insane. With a right story, he still has the caliber to draw in the crowds.Gadar 2 is running on his name as much as Gadar 1. The reason why they didn’t dare to replace him.

He was great in Gadar 1, no denying but what craze for Sunny paaji?🤔

AND with the competition from Jailer, i’d be very impressed if it does that kinda business. Feels a bit ambitious personally, but let’s see.

Some would argue that it's a conservative figure. Gadar 2 should enter the top 10 advances ever today with 2 days to go. Most trade pundits are expecting it to finish behind Bahubali 2, Pathaan, KGF 2 as the 4th most advance tickets sold. War had a similar advance and opened to 50 cr. But again the problem is the screens.

In mass centres they're already adding 6 AM shows which last happened in 2001 with Gadar. The first day is bound to be monstrous.

You think the goodwill of 40 years of being in the industry and helming the lead role in some of the most memorable movies delivering some of the iconic characters, will go away just like that? The media has conveniently sidelined him but not the people. You should see the crowds that showed up to attend his movie promotions.

I think it can do lifetime of 250 crore. At the same time I don’t think any other Sunny film ever do that. But sunny should enjoy this one. ☝️ a blockbuster for a 60 plus hero

You be fair first. Did I even mention anything about those movies? Media sidelines an actor in various ways. For ex, By not mentioning their names anywhere, by completely discarding their iconic movies like as if they never existed thereby denying them the avenue to be carried forward to the next generations. There is no other actor who can come close to him in the dialogue delivery and having some of the most iconic dialogs but yet you don’t see none of his dialogs or movies mentioned in any all time lists.Anyway IYKYK.

I don’t think Sunny Deol is ignored by anyone. I think by nature he’s less media friendly

No matter what happens....it's a slap in the face of Kjo's South Mumbai Nexus....the entitled "White" wannabe Archie's. They control the film media & hence the narrative. Sunny's and to a lesser extent Salman films have always been looked down upon as Downmarket catering to the "Rickshawala's". Tiger has faced the same discrimination in recent years when his openings are on par with Ranbir/Ranveer. The same KJo has gone down on his knees with his next 2 directorials with Tiger & Salman. Action is back in a big way. Kjo is smart enough to keep his ego aside & admit it but I wish Salman didn't give him the time of day.

I don't think you have taken into account that Sunny Deol is playing a supporting role and the lead actor of the film is the director's son.

If true, it's getting crashed on day 2

Why doesn't Ameesha Patel have any work after Gadar 2?

I was wondering why this great actress doesn't have any work after the superhit success of Gadar 2. She has faded away again. I am so confused....
