The best? Aamir Khan for his talent and the way his movies have been impactful on Hindi cinema. If I have to pick two bests, I would go with Kishore Kumar and Aamir Khan.

Most of the nepo kids before 2000s have actually had meaningful contributions to movies in some way or another. It became slim pickings after 2000s.

I agree. Nepo kids of past were way better than ones post mid 2000s.

I mean look at Aamir, Salman, Sanjay, Sunny, Ajay, Tabu, Kajol, Rani, Kapoor girls, Hrithik etc.

They proved their merit.

Often surpassed their parents the way Aamir, Salman, Ajay, Kajol, Rani, Kapoor sisters did.

And useless nepo kids would also fail or take backseat soon like Pratibha Sinha, daughter of Mala Sinha, Arbaaz, Sohail etc.

Unlike these plastic nepo kids of today who have no talent and keep getting work despite not deserving and hardly improve let alone surpass their relatives.

Yeah Saif has improved a lot.

Khanna brothers- Rahul and Akshaye were also good.

Kajol, Rani, Kareena, Amir, Hrithik, Ajay, Ranbir all have proven themselves again and again. Special mention to Saif, being a nepo and a brat in 90s his filmography is as diverse as it can get for a commercial actor.

There is no problem in nepotism, many many prominent and talented personalities in BW have come from BW families themselves, it's the Kjo brand of nepotism that irks me. In the 90s or 00's if you were a failed nepo kid you were as much of a failure as any outsider, like Tanisha, Uday Chopra, Esha Deol etc. But nowadays of you have Kjo's blessings then even if you fail at BO you are a success and no one else can point it out.
