If we use lines from a poem or a story in our fic, are we supposed to credit the poet/author in the fic itself? Or can we just add a note at the end of the fic crediting them?

Please let it be an original one ... see my dear buddy....if I allow you now, it's not fair on those writers who have already submitted 100% original creations.

You are free to take hints from your old creations n modify them😉. Feel free to use any prompts provided in first post for ideas .

If you use the prompt as given here, we decided to discount that many words as in the prompt in case you exceed the word count, that will not be possible if you modify the prompt.

Just to double-check, if we include the prompt as you've written it, the number of words would be discounted from our entries if we go over the word limit. But if we modify the prompt, then there would be no discount. Is that right?
