Shanta- banana stew looked boring. Kale and orange salad decorated with sliced almonds wasn't impressive either. I wish the plating was improved. Honey glaze was spread excessively beneath the chicken thigh. Also, kale is bitter, so speculated from taste, it might over-power. Obviously the chicken looked over-cooked and it took bit of effort to break the chicken thigh instead of it being smoothly cut. (I wish they showcased whether the temperature at which the chicken is cooked (the 5 physical states)).
Gurkirat- 😂 lol, only one ice cream at the end of the competition?😆 Also, what happened to remainder of karela chips? Mystery unresolved?😆Parsley looked unidimensional. Also, too much dusted amchur on the karela chip. 😕😆
Swarna- Not her best plating. But her flavors are nice to hear. Seemed like the taste was good.
Aruna- Looked like the papdis were set as a camping tent or something. 😂 Too much sauces like bit too much going on the plate. Garima didn't mention the origin of ugadi pachadi? 😂 Grape-balsamic chutney as an alternative to imlie chutney is okay but not innovative tbh.
Nayan- Not his best plating. Purple cauliflower looked like zabardasti last minute pe dala ho. Banana sauced wasn't his best. Seemed like there was an imbalance of taste, though Ranveer laughing/chuckling at it was stupid.
Kdk- haan bhai, last one is saved for "mumma." 😂 First of all, she's done similar plating with the cake-like dish without the papad (which just look not impressive). Just looked like the idea was inspired from food from Chipotle mexican grill or something hence not innovative from that POV. Salad presentation was unnecessary and just not looking good.
Also, ranveer saying mumma can;t speak properly about her food but diner can understand? Hain? Dusro ko jab "communicate" ka criticism deta h tab toh confused rehta h but mumma ka khana smz ajata h?😕😆Bro, others were at least speaking about what they added whereas mumma might still be semi-shocked that she's away from the balcony lol. Also, ranveer helped so obviously compliment toh dega. She should've been eliminated at this point.
