Jio wanted to oust hi for so long. He definitely did not opt out.. out of will but was shown the door!

I hope this movie gets made..

I’ll watch it if it’s inspired from Mahabharata’s Ashwathama and mythology but I’m not interested it’s just a regular vigilante / hero story..

I love him, but he was removed by Jio, so what's with twisting the words? He actually had started working out for it😪 i didn't know Samatha was a part of the project though.

I don’t get Jio’s logic in ousting him. He’s a great actor and as long as the script is well written and executed it will work. Uri became a blockbuster without any star power why can’t The Immortal Ashwatthana? Unless Jio just didn’t want Vicky in the role or they want someone else specifically in the role.

in hindi they want stars for big budget which is why the same 2-3 actors are being cast whether they suit or not

khans because of age will not suit a lot of roles (aamir anyway is very selective)

bache ranbir aur ranveer (who is bit shaky because of recent flops)

hrithik (who is also selective)

akshay, ajay (also older and have their weaknessness)

films like kantara, baahubali or even rrr became hit in hindi with stars who were unknown in hindi

what stars does avatar have

the hindi film industry has to come out of this mindset and cast appropriately and stop this star thing if content is strong

I think this is just a publicity stunt to create Buzz for the film.

Vicky is perfect for this role. He is a brilliant actor and even looks the part.

They should hire DNEG for Vfx ( One who did it for Brahmastra) and Write a solid script. That will be enough.

Also, I can hardly think of anyone else to play this role

Shah and Aamir are too old to play this character

Ranbir already has Brahmastra 2 and 3. Also, Ramayan trilogy to shoot.

Same for Hritik - Ramayan triology

Salman and Akki would ruin it

Ranveer and Varun have no star power

So, Vicky is the perfect choice
