A Brahmastra is hardly evidence of Ranbir's star power. Star power comes when opening is solely due to the star. Shamshera flopped magnificently.

None of the *younger* lot have any star power.

Star power is when an idiotic film like Pathan opens to big numbers. Or Race 3.

Shamshera was THE MOST ATROCIOUS MOVIE OF ALL TIME. With a pathetic trailer

It still opened at 10 cr When Aamir s Laal opened at 12 cr. Much better movie with a bigger star

I am not comparing him to Khans. But Ranbir is a bigger star than all his contemporaries. He can certainly give better numbers than Ranveer, Varun, Vicky, and the likes

But we are never going to agree on Ranbir. So, let us just agree to disagree

after a 4 year break , Ranbirs film with Yash raj opened to 9-10 crore , which is pathetic... He is a god actor , but please dont say that he has any star power

I think my initial post was not clear. Let me clarify -

Ranbir CANT DO ASHWATHAMMA BECAUSE HE HAS BRAHMASTRA PART 2 AND 3 TO SHOOT. Aso, RAMAYAN TRIOLOGY

Ranbir Ashwathamma nahi kar sakta kyunki usko abhi Brahmastar 2 and 3 shoot karni hai and Ramayan trilogy bhi.

Vikram Vedha opened at 10.58 cr

Bottomline is entertainment or star power. That's what Indian audience goes for.

83 was boring. Shamshera was atrocious.

If Ranbir and Ranveer don't get blamed for their flops, they don't get credit for their hits either.

Some of their films were entertaining, so they ran.

Let's see a Race 3 like opening for either of them for an equally bad movie. Then they can talk about star power.
