Yeah, until 2 days ago, south Indian accent, foods, habits were mocked by Bollywood. Now that the Telugu film industry has achieved something on a global stage, Bollywood wants to share credit.

What a fcuktard take. It’s that man’s film. He can call it an alien film if he wants. Was it originally made in Telegu?! Then it is a Telegu film! It is what it’s maker says. These gatekeepers of Indian culture are such vultures my lord

In the video itself he’s not saying it’s not an Indian film. He’s saying it’s not a Bollywood film.  And it’s not. It was released pan India but it is a Telugu film.

If he doesn’t make sure to make it clear that his movie is not a Bollywood movie Bollywood media will steal all his thunder and take all the credit.

The context is different. Everyone in the press and audience calls RRR a Bollywood film, so Rajamouli is trying to expand the vocabulary there. 😆

I don't see the issue here. It is originally a telugu movie. What else do you want the man to say? 😆

What's wrong with what he said? He's just explaining that it's not a BW film but a Telegu film. This is true.

It’s a Telugu movie originally , got broader reach with Hindi version.

But it would be still called a Telugu/south movie.
Don’t see anything wrong with it.
