Over zealot dumbasses like this are as harmful as dismissive stereotypical morons in Bollywood. Not excusing Bollywood's general dumbassery of how they stereotype whole South as Madras, the food, culture but this "our region conquered yours hence we are great" mentality is very harmful. Alot of the North now consumes South Indian movies/shows. The reason why poorly made remakes of South movies don't work in BW anymore. People are beginning to let go of their prejudice recognising the immense talent down South. Part of it is that alot of millennial youth shifts to cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai for employment/studies and they integrate and settle into the culture here and never go back. I have seen more Bengalis in Hyderabad than anywhere else in India except WB 😆

Because although it's made originally in Telugu the movie is dubbed in several Indian languages, Hindi being one of them and majority here have watched it in Hindi. It's a pan india movie
