You are making it seem like Ranbir is like Ananya Pande level actor who can't survive without kjo. While Ranveer/Hritik are some Leonardo di Caprio level actors

But even someone not in the business can easily see that the way to build a universe is not to have the same actor play multiple parts.

BTW, he actually financed the film? Because if it's Disney, they're pretty ruthless when it comes to business. And I'm sure KJo can see the point of having another actor as well.

Ranbir and Vicky worked together when Vicky had not yet given solo hits. Vicky's role was very much a side role. It won't be if he plays Dev. If you've seen Uri, you'll realize his caliber. The only 2 I think can surpass him are Shahid and Rajkumar Rao, but neither has that screen presence.

Still, it's not going to happen. Bollywood runs on ego as much as money. Pretty sure even if Ranbir didn't intend to do the role before, he will now after seeing the reactions.

Re PR: Ranbir mocked the women he dated in his post wedding articles. I get that you're his fan, but he is not a better human in any way, shape, or form than his contemporaries.

And what you said is making me defend Ranveer's acting. Khilji was idiotic, but I've also watched him in Lootera and Gully Boy. Guy is a reasonable actor. Nothing superlative, but yeah, him and Ranbir are in the same range.

But yes I don't want him to work with someone who publically mocks his failures. It has nothing to do with Ranbir getting overshadowed. He can hold his own. I trust him on that. It's just that after working years on a project I don't want someone else PR to take all the credit

But he did. So did the exes. So did Alia. It wasn't tit for tat either. All of them got their pics leaked to the media first. So it's not as if he was just retaliating.

Nor did I say Ranveer is Leo DiCaprio caliber. But he's more or less in same acting range as Ranbir.

When you selectively cite instances of one doing something, then you can expect to have Ranbir's misbehavior also brought up.

Your initial post made it sound like Ranbir is some doodh ka dhula. He's just as nasty as the rest of them.
