Raavi’s mind takes her back to the incident which made raavi realise that shiva is the only one who will always be there with her in her odds and evens.

FLASHBACK

After locket incident, shiva-raavi used to fight with each other but these fights were not mean. They just used to tease each other using names but now there was no insult in them. Everyday raavi used to come and pester around annoying him. both had different kind of feeling which new and unknown to them but this feeling as great.

It had been 3-4 days of locket incident. Raavi went to her college to collect some documents. After collecting documents raavi stood outside the college waiting for an auto. After a few min, she heard sound of giggling and muttering from her back. She turned around and found some eyes on her. this made her feel uncomfortable. She was not able to recognize the reason behind this. She decided to ignore and look for auto.

Suddenly, raavi felt someone’s arms wrapping her chest. Firsly, she was startled and then she realizes that it was none other than shiva. Her hands automatically reach his.

Ra: (whishpers) shiva….

Sh: (slowly in her ear) dekh raavi tu na-

Ra: (cutting him) tune mujhe raavi bola…..aaj suraj kis direction se nikla (teasing)

Sh: (irritated) chup kar chipkali……(calmly) ab sun meri baat….vo teri dress pe blood stain laga hai…sayad tere periods….(raavi’s hold on his hand tightens)…..tu ghabra mat…main hu tere saath….

Listening to shiva, raavi felt a strange peace. She felt safe in his embrace, she just didn’t want to get ride of his wramth. She was feeling like home.

Shiva again heard some giggling sound from back. He turned around and looked them people standing there with an angry expression. Seeing shiva’s anger, everyone shut their mouth. Shiva removed his shirt and asked raavi to tie it around her waist. Raavi was amazed to she this side of shiva. She never thought shiva being so understanding and caring, especially towards her, towards his maami ki behn ki beti. But she couldn’t deny that she was loving this attention from him.

Shiva finally managed to get an auto. Both of them got in it and leave the place.

Sh: (softly) tujhe tere ghr chodu ya phel kisi public wash-

Ra: (lowering her eyes) ghr chod de….

Sh: hmm

Shiva could sense the awkwardness which raavi was facing. He didn’t want to make it more awkward for her. soon they reached raavi’s house. Shiva didn’t leave raavi then also. He walked with raavi till the gate which was locked.

Sh: ghar pe koi nhi hai?....

Ra: nhi…maasi aur anita di relatives ke gye hai aur masapa kuch kaam se ahemdabad…..

Sh: acha…

Raavi opened the door and shiva turned to go.

Ra: (softly still audible) shiva….(he turns) thank you aur sorry(cracked voice)

Shiva realizing her state rushed back to her. he looked around and finding no one watching them, he entered the house shutting the gate. As shiva shut the gate, raavi hugged him and cried. shiva was taken aback for a moment. Then he hesitantly wrapped his arms around her.

Sh: (softly) shaant ho jaa….ro kyu rahi hai?

Ra: (breaks the hug)….(sobbing) vo ye….mujhe pta nhi chala…sorry

Sh: (understanding her words) kya…kya sorry?...kis baat ki sorry?.....(lifting her head) pehli baat aisa kuch nhi kiya tune ki tu sorry bole….ye ek normal process hai aur ye koi sharminda hone ki baat nhi hai….mere hisaab se toh bilkul nhi…..aur dusri baat apne dushman ko sorry-thankyou nhi bolte hai….. samjhi??(firmly)

Ra: par aaj dushman ne vo kiya jo sayad koi dost bhi nhi karta…(smiles)

Shiva got amazed by raavi statement. He returned her smile and left the house. raavi looked at the retreating figure with tears and a small smile.

Shiva went to store but his mind was fully occupied with the thought of raavi. He was a bit worried too as no one was there with her and he knew that these for any girl are difficult. It was almost 5 in the evening. He was in delimma for calling her or not. After much thinking, he calls raavi.

Ra: (picking up the call) hello….

Sh: (not understanding what to say) *silent*

Ra: hello…shiva….shiva tu hai uss side…hello….

Sh: (stammering) h..hn…mai..main hu vo..voh..

Ra: voh kya?....

Sh: vo..voh…tu thik hai?....

Ra: (confused) huh?.....

Sh: huh kya huh….

Ra: nhi matlab…tujhe kyu janna hai ki main thik hu ya nhi?.....

Sh: aree vo insaaniyat ke naate puch rah ahu na chipkali…..subh rone lagi thi…

Ra: nhi main thik hu…..par..

Sh: (worried) par kya?...hn?...

Ra: (calming him down) aree shaant….main thik hu…..vo actually main tujhe hi call karne wali thi….

Sh: kyun?

Ra: (hesitantly) shiva…. Voh na…main vo..

Sh: (curiously) voh kya?....

Ra: (hesitant) voh shiva mujhe na meri favourite chocolate aur vo khati-meethi goliyaan chahiye…please laa de

Sh: 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀……..tune mujhe iske liya call karne waali thi?

Ra: hn toh….

Sh: (shiva 1.0 mode) aee chipkali, maami ki behn ki beti….tune kya mujhe naukar sajha hai…..hn?

Ra: (pouting) naukar ki kya baat hai…. maine toh…hn maine toh home delivery ka order diya hai pandya store me….chal leke aa….

Sh: (amused) chocolates ki home delivery?...

Ra: (innocently) hn….please shiva…….dekh ghar pe koi nhi hai…..pleaseee

Sh: (sighs)…..(irritated) aa rha hu….

Ra: (happily) thank u bhoothnath….

Raavi heard door bell after a few minutes. She rushed to open the door.As she opened the door, the smile on her face faded because it was krish who came there in place of shiva.

Ra: (trying to be normal) krish tu?...

Kr: hn tune hi toh samaan manga tha store se…..

Ra: hn…par maine toh shiva-

Kr: (cutting her) hn….pehle shiva hi aa raha tha….par fir stock aa gya toh usne mujhe bhej dia…..

Ra: oh acha….(slightly smiles) thik hai thank you…..

Raavi took the packet and went inside. She sat on her bed and saw the packet. She didn’t feel like eating them now. All her excitement was lost.

raavi’s POV

abhi tak toh main itna excited thi…phir ab achanak se mere mann ko kya ho gya?…..ek delivery hi toh hai….shiva kare ya krish?....toh shiva ken a aane se mujhe kyun fark pad rha hai?.....subh bhi jab usne mujhe hug kiya toh…toh bahut safe feel hua….aisa laga ki kuch aur chahiye hi nhi…..ye kaisi ajeeb si feeling hai……bahu alg….ye ho kya rha hai mujhe?....par jo bhi ho....shiva ne aaj ye shabit kar diya ki chahe vo kuch bhi kahe....par mere saath humesha khada rahega....

Shiva completed the checking of stock. His eyes eyes suddenly landed on the packet of candies raavi asked him to bring.

Shiva’s POV

Pta nhi kyu par bilkul dil nhi kiya ki krish ke haato usse chocolates bhijwaun ….bas usse ek baar dekhna tha…par kyun?....aisa toh pehle kabhi nhi hua…..subh bhi usse rota dekh kar….dil me maano churi si chal gyi ho…..ye ajeeb sa ahsaas hai….kabhi mehsus nhi kiya isse…kuch alg hai bahut alag……
