Babli didi knocked on the door and called,"Nikki are you ready?Darwaza khol na"

Anokhi stood up from her seat and went towards the door and opened it.

Babli saw her from top to bottom and a drop of tear escaped her eyes.Cupping her face with her hands she said,"Aaj mai bhaut khush hoon.Tuje iss laal(red) lehange mai dekh mai.Muje toh laga tha yeh din kabhi aayega hi nhi.Aaj mai bhaut khush hoon lakin I am sad too kyunki aaj meri Chidiya kisi aur ke sang jo udd jaane wali hai,tere bina mai kaise rahungi meri nikki.

Babli hugged her and Anokhi too hugged her tightly and said di har ladki ki life mai yeh din aata hai na aaj mai bhi dulhan bann hi gyi.Chal ab ro mat warna sab muje "Crying bride" bolenge.

And they both laughed.

CHARACTERS

Introducing to you the characters of the story:

Miss Anokhi Bhalla:A fiercy and determined girl who wants to be a successful interior designer due her love for art and creativity.She is a pure feminist and strong headed.Age:22 years

Shaurya Sabherwal: The son of one the business houses of the country and who is an ambitious hotelier and a motivational speaker.To not say he is also the most eligible bachelor for now.Age:27 years

Aastha Sabherwal:Mother of Shaurya and is a teacher by profession.

Shaan Sabherwal:Owner of Sabherwal group of institutions.

The other characters are Babli,Rama,Vihaan and rest will be introduced as the story progresses

CHAPTER 1:DIN SHAGNA DA!!

Anokhi:Di!I don't know why I am feeling very weird as something is not right....
Babli didi:Anokhi tu aaram se Beth aur bilkul ghabrana mai.Every girl has this shadi se pheli wali anxiety.Tu fikar mat kar sab vdiya hoga...

So don't worry my Nikki and enjoy these moments.I am going downstairs to check all the arrangements.

Anokhi nodded.

She sat down on the bed calming her down and suddenly her screen flashed a message,"All set"

Anokhi replied,"Yes all done"
"Bas mai aa rha hoon fir tumhe Miss se apni Mrs. Cum Jaan banane,love!!

Anokhi smiled reading the text and sent a smiley.

Rama came in Anokhi's room and exclaimed,"Haye meri Nikki,kitni sundar lag rahi hai kisi ki nazar na lage and puts a kaala tika behind her ear"

She hugs her and says I wish you get all the happiness of the world and gently stroked her head.

Anokhi smiled and hugged her tightly in return.

Babli came hurriedly;mummy baarat aa gyi h chaliye aura nikki tu bhi ready rehna bas kuch minute mai leke jaate h tuje.

They both left but Anokhi got restless and she felt something sinking inside her as if she has lost all control.
She walked towards the wall and started saying,

"Waqt guzar gya hai,
Lakin mai aaj bhi wahi hoon,
Jaane kitne mausam nikal jayenge,
Lakin fir bhi khadi hoon,
Logo ke liye chahat hai yeh meri,
Lakin mere liye ek wada hai;
Jo na poora karna mera irada hai,
Chaha toh Maine bas ek ko hai,
Aur woh jo aaj nhi hai mujme ab mere jaise kuch nhi hai,
Ishq ki kasauti pe toh khade utar gye,
Lakin zindagi ne dhoka de diya,
Kyun Hume humse hi khafa kar diya"

And saying this a lone tear escaped Anokhi's eyes as she looked towards the picture of Shaurya with a garland on it.
