Chapter 4:Living in the reality

As Vihaan was about to put the vermilion in Anokhi's hairline,she held his hand in midway and shrugged it off.Everyone was shocked by this gesture of her.
She stood up untied the holy knot and ran away from the mandap.
"Imagine RANJHA PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND"
She ran as there was no end as no one could catch her.She was running and running and removing all her jewellery in the midway.She kept running as there was never before.

In the hall everyone was shocked,Vihaan ran behind Anokhi but until then she was gone.Nobody was able to find her.

Everyone was concerned.There was no trace of Anokhi and no one knew why she ran when she only said yes to the marriage.Shaan was concerned too.

But Babli knew why she ran.She knew Anokhi read the letter and now she disappeared.
She cursed herself,"Maine almirah kyu khuli chodi.Na mai woh karti na woh letter udd ke Anokhi ke pass jata.Kyun Maine kiya aisa".

ONE WEEK LATER:

Anokhi stood there numb seeing the sight in front of her.She couldn't believe her eyes.She couldn't and she shouted finally "Shauryaaaaaaa"........and thoughts of that night came over her.
(This is a monologue for Anokhi)

Mai bhage jaa rhi thi.Mai apni shadi se bhaag gyi thi.Muje jisne bachaya mai usse dhoka deke bhaag rhi thi.Mai khud se bhaag rhi thi.5 saal 5 saal muje adhere mail rakha gya.5 saal.Itna bada jhoot.Muje mere pyaar se alag kar diya.Unhone aisa kaise soch liye Shaurya se door rehna mere liye sahi hai kaise they can take a decision for me.My whole existence seemed to be a lie.My whole world was crashing down as I stopped the car near the cliff.I got out and shouted.The numb me now had the voice.The voice of turmoil that was buried deep down within me.Shaurya is alive.Her love was alive.He was alive.She cried endlessly and after hours got up and shouted ab rone ka nhi jawaab lene ka waqt hai.Aapko mere jawaab dene parenge Miss Aastha Sabherwal....

London:
The door bell rang and Aastha went to open the door.She thought Shaan to be back after attending the marriage but the sight shocked her.
Anokhi was standing there clad in the same phero ki saree and Aastha couldn't help but fumble.
Anokhi tum tum yaha....
Anokhi pushed Aastha and entered the house and started searching the whole house.

She heard no voice no arguments until she opened the door of the last room and found him.
She was numb now and collapsed onto the floor.
Aastha came to Anokhi and tapped her cheek.Anokhi wake up Anokhi.

Aastha was worried.She called the doctor and informed Shaan also that Anokhi is here.

"She is very stressed ma'am.That's why she fainted.Even her glucose levels are very low as if she has not eaten from long now.Please take care of her.She will get better.I am writing these medicines.",the doctor said and left.

Anokhi didn't wake up for the next 24 hours.Aastha though was worried but relieved too as she got time to handle Anokhi otherwise the fury she had could burn her and their ties.

Meanwhile Shaan also reached back home and Aastha explained him the whole scenario.

"Noor tumhe usse nhi batana chaiye tha Noor.Ab woh kahin nhi jayegi.Yeh kya kar diya tumne",Shaan said angrily.

"Kyun nhi batana chaiye tha",a voice from behind said.

It was Anokhi and she was giving death glares with questions dancing in her eyes.

Anokhi come here Shaan said and explained her the whole scenario.

She started crying as how she behaved with them when they kept their her above their own son and hugged both of them.

Shaan consoled Anokhi and said"Apni beti ko kaise aag mai daal deta mai lakin kismat ne meri koshish ko bekar kar diya aur tum wahi aa gyi jahan se hum tumhe door bhejna chah rhe the"

Aastha caressed Anokhi's hair as she told her everything about the 5 years and Shaurya's condition.She told how he reacted listening to her name and what the doctor said.

Anokhi stood up and said,"Mom dad I promise you I will get us our Shaurya back.He has to come back to us"

And they all hugged each other.

Shaurya's room:

Anokhi was sitting beside Shaurya holding his hand and talking to him.
Her eyes filled on the thought that the most dynamic hotelier was lying there lifeless.She cannot see him like that.She wanted that fierce Shaurya back who shook her to the core.

She got up and said,"Mr.Shaurya Sabherwal till when you plan to sleep like a Cinderella.You are no princess so better you get up and take charge of your responsibilities otherwise you see what I do of urs"

Saying this she lost courage and started crying.

And as she sat there her mind went to 7 years back when they first met.
