What’s everyone’s fav non-romantic relationship in this show?

I think this show had some good platonic/friendly relationships and mine’s Varsha-Akshara friendship. It was so natural, not forced at all. their friendship didn’t revolve around Shaurya or even the Maheshwaris (after Varsha’s marriage).

I liked how at ease they were with each other though they did have their disagreements too (a couple of times major) which they solved on their own or were instrumental atleast.

It was a refreshing take on a female friendship since in ITV most female characters other than FL become vamps or are just for comic relief.

Which ones are your fav?

I really liked the relationship that Rajshri & dadi (her mother-in-law) shared.

Rajshri was very competent as a homemaker but also an emotional wreck over the slightest inconvenience. Dadi balanced her out so well with her motherly comfort & calmness. She would even scold her son if he ever got slightly irritated with Rajshri's OTT reactions. In fact for a conservative household, daadi was quite liberal with encouraging Rajshri to enjoy her life with randomly skipping rope one evening, supporting her enrollment in English classes, giving her confidence when she got very conscious about wearing a suit, etc.

Rajshri in turn was an extremely caring, selfless, & mature DIL. Even if she did face issues because of daadi in the past, she never seemed to hold a grudge because those things were never brought up. (Unlike Sunaina)

Same pinch on that....

Mine also Akshara n Varsha All time...

I have started watching this show after naira's entry ....so for me.... Bond which I really liked was between kartik and mishti.... Especially when mishti's dad was going to be arrested and kartik was really worried for mishti , and he took her to her took....while all the dramas was going on outside...

Though writers ruined it later

I too miss this relationship. I wish they had explored this relationship in YRHPK but alas.

I liked the akshara Naksh relationship too.

Yaa... I too wanted them to show their bond atleast in 1-2 scene... But they didn't

Naksh se yaad aya, young Naksh & bua daadi were awesome!

Constantly fought but also kept seeking each other's attention. Naksh had the cutest childhood & bua daadi was the sassiest! 🤣

*When I talk about Naman, I mean the one from before the leap. Before the CVs made him go beserk for Naitik's replacement storyline.

P.S. I think I just listed every non-romantic relationship there was. That's how good this show was before Kaira were introduced. I loved every relationship and every character. No one was the bad guy. There was real growth and change in characters.

Good work 👍🏻 but I think you forget akshara gaytri that so beautifully shown like their chemistry looking real saas bahu time gaytri is really like saas sometime in mithi sometimes khati sour sweet relation of akshara gaytri miss her even

Then varsha akshara too

Old yrrkh they show relation very beautifully they works on relation but now only reps and episodes matters for them from 2 years they show focus kaira's milan separation again milan nothing on their relationship with each other and others family members

Initially they show naira preeti but not fully focus

Misthi kartik is one but they end it
