Why should Virat force Sai and Pakhi to like each other?

Today's episode will set the ball rolling for the cold war between the two women - Sai and Pakhi (PP) but the reasons, so far, are a bit different

We have been discussing Sai's hostility towards PP but after watching today's episode, I would say she is only reacting to the action. Now, although PP has not done or said anything directly yet, the action here is the "vibe". The entire time that they have been around PP has not even acknowledged her Aaba's death. Even when Sai said after the wedding scene, 'Mere Aaba Nahi hai is liye...'

The 'most welcome' was a forced comment she made in presence of family members during the gruh pravesh but anyone receiving the wishes can feel the vibes.

Sai is aware about the equation between Virat and PP - she can see them crying for one another right since the time she first saw PP when Virat had just filled her maang with the sindoor. I don't think PP (considering all the turmoil she herself is going through) is actually fit or in the state of mind to guide anyone else. Virat seems to be blind to PP's mental state or as usual, is choosing to look the other way.

I actually have a problem with him trying to push the so women to be friends. While Sai would have actually not had that much of a problem, the vibes that are coming out from PP are not friendly. She is hurting for Virat and not able to see the goings on of the rituals. Sai, on the other hand, wants to maintain the distance and not get involved, combined with her notion of being independent and a lot of annoyance that Virat has been trying to reinforce in her that she is not like PP (mature). This guy needs a serious relationship counselling session.

PP has not accepted Virat's request to guide Sai, which Sai witnessed ( not that she needs a guide) and Sai has in fact gauged how hurt PP was when Virat mentioned it to her. And PP is actually right in feeling hurt and not wanting to guide Sai. Why should she?

So Sai asking Virat "Aapko Dil se meri zimmedari Nahi nibhani toh theek hai... Main aapki majboori samajti hoon" is actually what it comes across .

We know he's probably trying to have PP get involved in the family events to make her feel part of the whole thing but he's forcing it a bit too much without understanding the situation.

I think Sai needs to guide ACP Saab to come out of his delusional concept of 'maturity'.

Should Virat force the two women to be friends or even like each other?

I completely agree with your post. Sai is smart enough to understand what Pakhi actually is. Virat is blinded at the moment due the guilt he developed and it was intensified by Pakhi with her repeated taunts about the vaada he gave to her.

Pakhi was repeatedly saying 'Virat asked me to help you' , 'Virat wants me to do this for you'. But what this Virat actually is?? Does Sai really care ?? She has already made it clear that she's not interested in him and will never be.

So Virat should stop trying to force Pakhi on Sai and Pakhi should stop poaching into Sai's matters in the name of Virat.

The root of the problem is virat here. He needs to let one be. I don’t know why he thinks that he has to set everyone up for something. Clearly Pakhi doesn’t want to guide Sai, and Sai said the same, so why does he keep bringing the two ladies together??? Not everyone can be sacrificial devta like virat and he should not expect others to be like him anyways.

In this episode, I really felt that Virat was trying to make Sai like Pakhi. It feels like he wants to rip away Sai's personality and make her into another Pakhi so that she's more likeable. That's disgusting. And if Virat utters the word maturity again, I was Sai to take his gun and shoot him in the head, where his brain is supposed to be.

I didn't feel he wanted to make Sai another Pakhi. If that were the case, he wouldn't have told Sai to given it back tactfully if she's insulted. He admires Sai for being who she is and I don't think he will change her or even stop her from speaking her mind.

I think he is too overwhelmed now with whatever has occurred since his first posting right from Samrat's wedding to his own, under whatever circumstances it is. Also, this situation has kind of got him to open his eyes to things around him in his house which he was perhaps blind or conditioned to ignore because he was not directly involved. Now he will be directly involved in it because his "WIFE" will be doing the 'give and take'.

I would like to believe (although it is not yet clearly shown) that he is doing this to push PP to accept the reality for moving on. The more she is involved in getting Sai to get accepted in the family, the more she will have self realization of the reality. I think the terrace talk about Samrat and PP's literal cold approach to the subject has made him realise it.

Sai can see PP's pain and it is also her ego that he's constantly comparing her with PP. All said and done, there is a hint of jealousy, not the romantic one but that of being independent and smart on her own. She doesn't want to be treated like a kid.

The only problem is that he's forcing them to be friends when they clearly don't like each other for various reasons.

If you look beyond Virat's calm and composed nature, he's just another Karishma in a man's avatar. Usko sabki life main taang adane main bada maza aata hai but unlike Karishma, his intentions always come from a good place. Whether they come from a good place or not, he invariably ends up hurting someone or the other in the process.

@bold - as much as I would like to believe this, I don't think Virat is that "mature" yet😆. I do believe that he is ridden with guilt for the promise he made to Pakhi and supposedly breaking it. And Pakhi is also constantly reminding him of it (I don't blame her though). I think that he wants to show Pakhi that her importance in his life has not reduced in any way, but involving her in his married life. He's doing it more for Pakhi, than for Sai. His might tell people that he's doing it for Sai all he wants, but at the end of the day, his actions so far are to please Pakhi.

If he really respected Sai's decisions, then he wouldn't have pressed this matter further when Sai bluntly said no.

Yeah ...agree with you...his intentions are good but he messes up bad in providing his self help. Here I think he now purely considers Pakhi as his friend and expects her to share his responsibilities just like any other friend would expect but again as usual fails to see her perspective or even consider her consent of doing so(like it was so clearly visible on terrace talk that she doesn't wanna do it)...he has taken Sai's responsibility too seriously now after he has seen each one of his family member's reaction and all those have just burdened up his responsibility more...so he is taking all these steps 'phoonk-phoonk ke' to ensure no one gets hurt in the process specially Sai..

Agree. If he really thought Sai couldn't handle herself he wouldn't have given her the signal for fireworks 😅

But someone remind him, three is crowd
