Psychologists are not doctors nor does a patient with bipolar disorder , (which is not what sushant was suffering from) would go ro a "psychologist" of all people. And for godsake please dont trivialise both depression and bipolar disorder. 

There is nothing called minor depression. You either have a unipolar major depressive disorder which requires antidepressants or a bipolar depression which alternates with manic episode in bipolae disorder which requires a mood stabilizer along with anti depressant or anti psychotic depending on which phase the patient is in i.e., manic / depressive

Also let me add one thing here. For a psychologist to be able to become a therapist, he/she has to be qualified in clinical psychology and should  have MSc degree and not MA .

MSc clinical psychology people can still do only few types of therapies but they cannot be decision makers as to which type of therapy should the patient take. It is the doctor i.e., the Psychiatrist's call.

I am pretty sure you can only go to a psychologist for CBT not prescriptions. Kaha kaha se aa jate hain muh uthake.😆

Also his flat mate stated the Kersi Chavda was his psychiatrist. Before that there was some Dr. Jeffrey. My goodness Sushant must have spent all his time at the doctors.

Can she be punished by Indian laws for breaking doctor patient confidentiality coz she revealed to media / public instead of revealing to the family / cops?

If this woman was actually prescribing medicines to Sushant, she will be in a lot of legal trouble.

kersi chawda sir is a Psychiatrist but i don't think sushant was his patient.
